- Welcome! Thank you for being here, I appreciate your time and hope you learn something from my videos. In this short, unnarrated video I am attempting a hide and reveal bloom inspired by @winterstromart 's Jessica Winterstrom who I find fascinating to watch. Her process baffles me but, although I have actually attempted this technique, I've never gotten to the point where I spin it out to see what develops. This time, I am trusting the process and going for it. Rather than narrate as I create, I decided to just turn on some soft saxaphone jazz(my favorite contemplation music) and let things flow naturally. I know it lacks composition and reasoning but the pleasure of just manipulating the paint and watching it become something entirely different as it spins out intrigues me. I enjoyed this little interlude and I hope you do too! It's definitely something very different for me. I love all the different effects that occurred and I hope to find the time to explore this version of fluid art/blooming in the future.
As always, for blooms, these are my products and recipes:
My pillow in PPG MultiPro pure white purchased at Home Depot
My bloom paints are mixed with one part gloss varnish and 2 parts Glidden Premium untinted base 3 with a little water to thin. Pigments are mixed the same except I add them to the varnish to dissolve them, then add the untinted based then water to thin. It's always a little thick so water is always needed.
My cell activator for this video is 1 part paint to 3 parts Australian Floetrol.
All of my art projects are for sale and can be purchased on my Michaels Makerplace Storefront here: www.michaels.c...

Wowzers! Sceptical at first, but ❤❤❤ the result.
Thank you! Haha me too!! I was like oh nonononono but once I started spinning, it got cool real fast!
Great first hide and reveal! You got some amazing cells in there!
Thank you! Oh my goodness I was so not sure of this. Hide and reveal is so unique in that you have no idea what you're creating until you spin it out!
@@vegasmainiac7745 oh that’s so true! But it’s so cool seeing those colors start to pop during the spin.
