insanely nostalgic, made me cry a little bit. as i’ve gotten older i’ve drifted from bvb, but i remember crying to savior when i was 13 years old, as cheesy and cliche as it sounds that song saved me many times. i felt so alone, helpless, but i could always ground myself with savior (or carolyn). i wouldn’t be who i am without that song, crying my eyes out when andy broke his ribs, all the old crack complications, making edits, fanpages, all of it. i wish 13 year old me could listen to this, and see me now. the lyrics to this song remind me of how i’ve felt toward this band forever, ive enjoyed growing up with you guys🥺
I relate to this so heavily, every bit of it. I used to fall asleep listening to their stuff and watching their interviews with BryanStars, it was the pick-me-up that I needed at that time. And this is a perfect call back to that time.

This. Everything about this I relate to. I remember being 16 just crying alone in my room to Savior playing in my headphones. How alone I felt and this band always felt like family to me. Like someone out there was listening to things i never said. I'm 26 now and though life isn't perfect, I'm still here, have a beautiful 3 year old son to live for and I honestly didn't think i would have made it here
Black Veil Brides were the reason I became a musician in the first place. Their music got me through some of the hardest times of my life. Saviour II is a love letter to all of us. I went to the Denver show at the Oriental Theater the other night and I truly felt connected with everyone in the room. I love these guys, and I love all of you. Over a decade later and we're all still together and all stronger than we were before! Rock on into the eternal night; BVB army forever!🖤

The emotion in this, not just the lyrics, but the music itself is heart-wrenching. It's beautiful.
@prajna Of course Andy's voice is amazing, and the lyrics are wonderful and touching. But the composition of the music itself is what grabbed me. You can truly feel the emotion in every note. This is a song that could be stripped down to even just a single instrument and still be hauntingly beautiful. Jinxx is an incredibly talented composer and musician., and this song illustrates that. It's raw emotion, exposed and vulnerable.

I was a preteen when I first listened to the original Savior song and, though I haven't listened to your music in a long time, this brings back memories of a time when my life was so chaotic, with everything feeling so hopeless that life didn't feel like it was worth living. People made fun of me for liking this kind of music, but it gave me back the hope I had lost and made me who I am today. I had no plans to live past the age of 16, I'm 24 now, about to be 25 - I made it, thanks to you and so many other bands like you. Thank you for giving me my life back, you'll never know how much it means to still be here.

And the big stain glass window you see; his step dad made that for the church the family goes to.(jinxx stated all this in a post on Instagram) Its a beautiful song.

Like i told them in person while not trying to cry in front of them…if it wasn’t for them as a band and their music I would have been dead. Because i was so depressed and no one noticed me. To hear Andy to say these words “never give up. Keep on listening to our music and we are always with you. This band has been my favorite for a long time I actually stumbled into the band while on my space and heard the original we stitch these wounds. Ever since then I was hooked and have enjoyed their music.

I honestly try to hold back tears listening to this and savior. They are both very amazing, and i truly love Andy's vocals in both songs it is just truly incredible.

When I was a teen, I was in severe depression. Music was my only out. I constantly listened to their music. It saved me. Even when I was in a domestic violent relationship, i only had that to listen to until i managed to get out of that relationship. Now I'm a proud mother of 2 little girls and I want them to understand that I'll be there for them no matter what and I love them very much. I'm gonna do whatever I can to their lives are way better than mine ever was.

(Edit) Jinxx's story about his stepdad on his instagram was so raw and emotional, and Andy brought the story to life beautifully with his voice, as well as the rest of the band. The song is beautiful! I love the message to the fans. I love that it came together from two different personal experiences from Andy and Jinxx. The passion and talent here is breathtaking. With all of this said. It breaks my heart a little. I hope the band knows they don't have to and shouldn't be anything but themselves for the fans. That's how you started. That's what resonated with us. We love and are here with you.
I only discovered you guys before my 15th birthday, right after your song Fields Of Bone was released. Around April of this year, I started to drift toward more of MIW’s music, but I’ve come back to you guys recently. Now i’m turning 17 in a month, and I’m in one of my darkest times right now, and your music is really helping me get through each day, especially after hearing this song, I keep playing it on repeat, and trying not to cry while walking down the hallway of my school. Thank you guys so much for helping me as much as you are now!

The dynamics of this song is so amazing especially with the strings. I’ve heard so many songs that differ from one another of rock and it makes me feel like BVB is a multi-genre band at this point. They can really pull off heavy post hardcore/metalcore songs then you’ve got the hard rock songs with a poppy chorus, and then you’ve got songs like this I call cinematic rock ballads. This is definitely one of my favorite bands in my top 5. Great work guys! 👏🏻🤘🏻🔥
