You’re right, the audience took a little while to warm up, didn’t they…but I could tell you were grooving to the beat right from the start! Must be all the practice you get going to concerts. Love Lauren Daigle! The song is from her Look Up Child album. I’ve seen her in concert and she’s amazing. You could try listening to her other songs as well.😊
She write another song that is called "Thank God I Do" very good also and you should also hear Angelina Jordan cover this same song on Dec 23 2021 at her Christmas concert ,, I would love to see both of these Angels do a live duet of these songs ..!!

Lauren has a beautiful voice and the song has a religious influence.i didn't know she has a autoimmune deficiency it has not held her back and ibelive she a grammy winner 👏👌
I think you are right about that.
It amazes me how close minded many older Christians are to contemporary christian songs. If it steps outside "Amazing Grace" they get real tense. If given a chance and they listen to the lyrics they usually open up.
I’m 62 and love a lot of ccm (especially Casting Crowns)! I judge based on the lyrics!
great reaction. lauren daigle is awesome all around. her voice is stunning but the whole musical arrangement and background vocals are amazing not to mention the deep spiritual lyrics. if you enjoy that type of raspy soulful voice, i highly recommend haley reinhart with postmodern jukebox singing "creep". it's a vocal masterpiece enjoy! 😎

I remember hearing that despite that fantastic voice this video almost nipped her career in the bud... because she's obstensively a Christian artist (the songs are definitely themed that way) but she showed a sliver of her bare stomach here. It still became a huge hit, but every time I've seen her in anything since, she's very carefully covered up head to toes.
