What do you mean by "italo version of It's A Sin" ? It's A Sin is already an italodisco track itself... and tbh this track sounds more like "Say You'll Never".

I'm looking for a budget setup for italo disco and synth pop making, what synth emulators do you recommend? Is there any you can get from free? Btw: my total budget is 300 dollars, if I have to spend money.
@@dominikkarkowski ok. Are those free? I do find emulators but for 170 dollars each, you see I just wanna start out and looking for as cheap setup as possible!
@@dominikkarkowski Well that's deffinetly nothing for me, I do already have some synths (physical ones) but those are made for other music genres, almost impossible to get that italo sound. So do you think it is possible to cloud emulators for free, not just samples? If not I guess I have to save up to 600 dollars to buy a setup. Not really any other alternatives if that's the case. Btw: if it is free emulators out there, can I get a physical drum set instead of a drum machine? A basic one for around 300 bucks.
What I mean that the vst's are not important. Its about you. It doesn’t make sense to buy expensive vst’s when you have never made italo before. I recommend this as a start: Linndrum lm2 samples Simmons sdsv samples OBXA vst Dexed vst
Lian Ross, CCCATCH, Silent Circle, Fancy, Linda Jo Rizzo, Bad Boys Blue, The Hurricanes and Modern Talking are not Italo Disco! Those are Eurodisco or Discofox! What you were doing is create “Eurodisco or Discofox”!!!!! Edit: if you want to create “Italo Disco” look for real Italian made! The sounds and music!s are different from Eurodisco or Discofox!
I perfectly know that. I am polish, and there italo is still used on party’s. The song say you’ll never, on the other hand is pure italo. But you are right about the rest, that’s eurodisco
Dominik Karkowski As far as I know, Lian Ross’ “Say you’ll never” is still not Italo Disco. This is not to offend you, but let me share some of my knowledge since I was a DJ in the 80’s. Italo Disco beats are loud and clear, it influenced House music, so you can clearly hear the poundings on the club speakers. Furthermore, Italo Disco is very spacey, meaning it doesn’t clump together like Discofox/Eurodisco. Thus, “Say you’ll never” by Lian Ross is still Eurodisco/Discofox, not Italo Disco. You cannot easily mix Eurodisco/Discofox with House music, Electro-house or UK Synthpop like New Order, the beats are too thin and there is no space in-between. Eurodisco/Discofox is good to listen but not made for discotheque or night club. Edit: Here is what Discogs labeled “Say You’ll never” by Lian Ross: www.discogs.com/Lian-Ross-Say-Youll-Never/master/78723 Furthermore, just because it’s on ZYX label, it doesn’t mean it’s Italo Disco. A lot of people always get confused Discofox for Italo Disco, especially in Latin America and East Europe. As a matter of fact, those who like Discofox don’t really like real Italo Disco, most never heard of good Italo Disco, and only think that Eurodisco/Discofox is Italo Disco. Make no mistake, there were some Italians in the late 80’s that made Eurodisco but they labeled them as Italo Disco (which to DJ’s in the 80’s, we wouldn’t dare playing those in a club).

The Polish scene that evolved out of this genre was even better as it incorporated the traditional European folk sounds.
