    all im looking for is how they do the crazy fills with delay and wild toms and claps and crashes some of those instrumental drum breaks that just go insane. I love how at the end its like you COULD do these things but thats literally the only thing i came here for so if you could do another video on just that, that would be amazing! :D

    Thanks for sharing the secrets so that Italo can be kept alive and even increase in popularity. Will use the summer vacation to play around with this and maybe even involve my kids / next generation if they are interested 😊

    This is so cool. I wish I knew this video sooner
    I'm a 17 year old kid who is into italo disco like addicted to the point it's my falling as sleep music 😅
    And I have a question if you don't mind:
    Why is that when I make an italo disco track everything sounds so thin but when it comes to mid 2000's music every sounds warm and nice even without mastering? I tried everything I know about eq and it just makes instruments sound louder not warmer. I'm learning how to eq again cause I think I'm not good enough and I don't think my explaination is right there so please fix me if you want to. Thankyou

    Great to see so many of my presets put to good use! 😃 Thank you for including a link to my channel too! Keep up the good work! Sounds great the way you put all the sounds together in your arrangement!

      Your presets are absolutely fantastic, Lukas! They are the only ones I use with Synth1 and have used them in a lot of my songs.
      Thank you! You really have a feeling for that special 80s touch that many other preset banks are missing.

    • @roboticrealm
      @roboticrealm 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mirkohirsch_official I'm glad you've had such use of them! I'm really struggling nowadays with my own music. Sometimes I get the sound and arrangement right, but then I've forgotten to create a good melody, and othertimes it's the opposite. And making a great arrangement with the right sounds is always hard, I think. There's a lot of trial and error. Some sounds sound great on their own but don't fit in a certain mix. It's really quite odd. A thin boring sound can be great in a mix and a beefy sound sometimes doesn't fit at all.

    hey bit late but i downloaded synth 1 and it only allows me to use soundbank 0, the rest of the soundbanks say initial sound and nothing else for all options

    • @mirkohirsch_official
      @mirkohirsch_official  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to download the 80s style soundbanks from this channel first:
      www.youtube.com/@roboticrealm/search?query=synth%201
      In each video description, there is a download link for the specific pack.
      Then, you can load the soundbanks into Synth1 via the "opt" button.
      There you can assign each bank to its download folder and use the sounds.
      I cannot offer them for download myself on my website because they belong to their creator, Lukas Lundh.

    Sometimes I use Synth1 BUT it sounds so cheapy (without FX's) :D
    Korg and Roland satisfies me more in the final sound
    Thanks anyway!
    And I have question about your bass sound. How to get the sound like in "One Last Touch" and etc? I can't make this sound in my VSTs (korg, ob-x, roland, tal-u-no...). What is this VST?
    This sound is very different from everything and has unique power, polysix is very close, but still not the same

    • @mirkohirsch_official
      @mirkohirsch_official  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm using Synth1 with Lukas' presets on most of my productions of the last years.
      Usually, I put the Waves Doubler 2 on the leads/stabs etc.
      And yes - of course, without any FX like in the video, it sounds a bit cheap - but that was the main idea. To keep it very simple and basic and FREE, although I've bought the Korg Legacy Collection some years ago and used it a lot on my early productions.
      For my bass sound, I usually layer two or three bass sounds on top of each other.
      I've just checked the bass sound of "ONE LAST TOUCH" and it is...
      Korg Polysix, Preset "Fat Line Bass"
      plus FM8 with my own "Radiorama" bass preset, based on the classic DX7 bass
      plus Sylenth1, Preset 088 BS Italo (with all internal FX of the plugin itself turned off)
      plus FX "Kjaerhus Classic Chorus, Preset Solid El-Bass" plus Fruity Parametric EQ and additional EQing of the mids.

    • @mirkohirsch_official
      @mirkohirsch_official  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've used Sylenth1's BS Italo on a lot of my songs - you can also hear it on "Lost in Alphaville"
