Danny La Rue was a national treasure! A brilliant performer. Somebody who was well ahead of his time. He used to completely owned the Good ol Days and Royal Variety Performances. Completely irreplaceable. Thank you Danny La Rue for brightening up our lives and the whole nation 🙏🙏
Danny was a darling. I was 7 when I saw him in panto in Bournemouth. He was in Cinderella with Alan Haynes. They were the ugly sisters. I last saw him just before he died. God bless him for entertaining us all for so many years
its sad how he worked so hard and was so good at it. then have all he earned be stolen by someone in a business deal...His dresser, a lady who did his gowns took him in and she looked after him.
