Hallelujah MPSJ Special Strings and Friends

MPSJ Special Strings and our dear friends from Special Ed combined to create this video for the CBC Music Class Challenge. We chose Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, a beautiful piece of music, but instead of just a performance video we thought we would include moments that highlight our friends from Special Ed. Students enjoy giving mini performances, sometimes singing and playing for them. These interactions bring such joy to everyone and through music all our students are able better able to connect with one another. In addition the spec ed students enjoy participating in phys ed and drama programs throughout the day. Here is just a glimpse into life at MPSJ for some of our most endearing students. We really put special thought and effort into creating this video and we would especially like to thank our photographer/videographers: Marco Ordonez, Erik Helmus, Roann Cordova, Guy De Mello, Elyce Alfonso, Anthony Owusu, and Nicholas Rich. Additional thanks to Marco Ordonez, grade 12 comp tech student, who spent hours with the editing of the video. Great work everyone!
