welcome! I love your purpose, and I think, as a mom of 2 teens, you are spot on with the younger generation and attention spans. I am only 40, but I colored in my 20s! and all my life. Yay, glad to have a young generation show up. I am 41 and still feel like I am in my 20s lol. I knit, crochet and make my own art, but stumbled upon adult coloring when I didn’t want to think of something to create. The act of coloring is so fun and freeing. We should change the name to Inner Child coloring. Love your color choices and vibes ✨🤍

I came to coloring when I was 26 years old. Now I am 34 and I still love it. It’s such an easy hobby to pick up and you can take your stuff everywhere. I enjoyed the calming effect of it already as a child and I am so grateful that coloring books for adults became a thing. Just loving it!
I'm 26 now! And I'm sure I'll be still coloring in 8 years time too ☺

10:23 the color palette is AMAZING! You way you picked brighter colors than neutrals and darks but you picked darker colors than the typical BRIGHT ❤❤

i’m in my twenties too, and i feel the same. i also have been thinking about doing videos, because what i see is that there’s no content in spanish (my native language), and i know that i’m not the only one who would like videos like these in our language. watching your video has inspired me to try and just do it. not for the subscribers but for the precious coloring community that i know is there but i just haven’t find it.

Your pages are beautiful. I love the look of the bright colors. I am still looking for a style that works for me, so I try anything that jumps out at me. It looks nice when you have an idea of what you want the end result to be! I'll have to try to get there. 😂. Hopefully I'll get some ideas from you because I love your finished pages.

a coloring channel i love is my colorful country life , she also does some of the things u mentioned like wrap up etc. love that u use bright colors and i like the colors u used in those pages u showed and i liked the limited color palette too.

Glad to see someone younger into adult coloring. I'm a bright colorist too. I loved your color palettes. I think I have finally found my most enjoyable pencils but I am still trying to figure out best supplies for Backgrounds. I am not good with wet mediums (I struggle with the neocolor 2s and the intense which are very popular in the coloring community). So far I'm enjoying the neocolor 1s with a blender pen (for a saturated look) and gelatos with blending brushes (for a less saturated look).
Backgrounds are so tricky! One day I will figure it out 😆

I am looking forward to seeing more videos. I would love to see color alongs as well. So many colorist recommend Brutefuner but you rarely see people using them. I am new to coloring and I thought the vibrancy on your pages was awesome. I would love to know what combos you used.

I am 31 and indeed most of my viewers are 45+. I think we also work fulltime and have kids and you maybe have less time? Or less money to buy all those supplies? I started my channel with just completed pages but I got asked a lot of color alongs so I tried to started that last month… can’t wait to see more of you! Good luck with the channel and more importantly: HAVE FUN! 🎉
Yes! Money AND time are very limited haha. But I love that we can easily indulge in colouring even if our budget is on the tighter side 🥲
@@apicturedpurpose indeed! I am coloring for 3,5y now and I still have a limited amount of stuff. I am buying every year like 20 Neocolor II’s so after 4 years I have the full set. Mostly I save up for good products now and I like to use what I buy.
@@bubbleofcoloring I’m totally in the same boat. Although I sometimes wish I had more supplies, it’s nice not having an overwhelming amount of books and supplies to choose from
@@apicturedpurpose the supplies I use all the time are soft pastels, Neocolor II, coloring pencils (1 oil based set and 1 wax based set), waterbased markers, alcohol markers and some gelpens. That’s it actually 🤓 you can do a whole lot with these supplies. Happy to see more of your content. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kyra im using my partners you tube account right now because my boys have run my battery down. But im going to start my own you tube channel after watching yours iv been meaning to for a while. Im going to open it today Sarah's scribbles i managed 1picture last month iv done 2 so far this month in matchstick mouse im literally going to have to phone video it at the moment im literally scared of showing my face though just a self confidence issue . I started February this year after losing my only daughter at 20weeks i have 4 boys. Your pictures are amazing i love the bright colours i do the same i use the pencils and I also h b i have tried castle arts pencils hate the the lead breaks every sharpening but their gel pens are good .

Coloring requires a 12 step program.🤣
No to the prisma colours. TH-cam needs a budget pencil colourist. I can't afford them and seeing them is an instant click off the video for me.
