      I always make sure to get stitch braids, which means the braids braided tighter than normally, I wear a durag that’s very formfitting and flat to my scalp when I sleep, and then, on top of that, I put a bonnet, and I very lightly manipulate my hair whenever I am applying oil or anything to my hair or scalp

      No, wash your hair and moisturize before you take them out. If you wash after you might lose the definition from the braid out or twist out

    I took my first braids out weeks ago and I’m still having breakage. I’m actually afraid to shower now because of how much hair I loose. I never used any oils or moisturized my hair, I just took them out aggressively the day I was tired of them I wish I knew what I was doing, I was so naive
