    It's so nice to see people in the hobby who are not making every mistake in the book and keeping the right amount of fish in the right conditions. Good job.

      Thank you. Will add I owe it to making almost every mistake in the book! To this day I still make simple mistakes, but you live and learn. The hobby can be very unforgiving, so it's best to be careful and know your shit!

    What are your plans for the Tiger fish when it gets 3 foot plus?

    • @thickturd

      Nick Ferdinande Other than the obvious answer of building a gigantic freshwater monster fish pond in my future basement next to the very large venomous saltwater display?....yeah no that’s the plan. But it’ll take about nine years for that fish to grow THAT big - I should have plenty accomplished by then. Stay tuned!!!

    I'm trying to get a good predatory community fish as like the mascot for my 55 gallon. I plan on having peacock eels and 2 electric blue acaras. Any ideas?

      Leopard Bushfish - stealth predator, lots of personality, grow slightly larger than the Acara, not too aggressive toward tank mates, and generally captive bred ensuring a healthier fish without the risk of parasites from the wild. Amazon Leaffish are also very cool, just more hidden and rugged looking. Thoughts? 🤔

    Where did you get the tank from?

    • @thickturd
      @thickturd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Blueshark8O9 Specifically tank was donated years ago by an older couple headed to Florida for retirement! They had two Oscars they needed rehomed, and donated the remainder of their supplies for the “Fish Sanctuary” rescue I ran during middle school through high school. Long history with my remaining tanks!

    Your tank looks so natural and cool but tiger fish will soon be too big for this tank
