This is Amazing to watch, my first car is going to be a coupe gt, wich is very rare here in Portugal, a costumer from my parents shop is going to sell his audi for me this year, i´m very excited.
@@Resto.Nation definitely, out of interest there is a audi coupe GT same spec as this without a mot on ebay right now, sales in hour or so, interesting to see what it goes for
yeah shame its so far from me, if the seller could provide any less info i think he wud, if he even took it for an mot and it failed it wud still have been beneficial to the sale. what do you reckon it will go for, im saying 4k and a bit
I have a 1984 GTE, which I've had from new. At the last MOT I was told to have the headlight reflectors rechromed at the earliest opportunity. I tried one spray can of another brand, which wasn't very good so I removed it with thinners. Strangely some of the original good reflective surface also came off. This got me thinking that they were painted, rather than chrome plated originally.
I think they were silvered from factory not chromed. The go chrome by stardust colours that I used was perfect! And the heat resistant paint for the bulb reflectors held up well too. Well recommended, but not cheap paint.
@@Resto.Nation i’d expect big things aswell! Or Wether it would be much more expensive to send them off to be rechromed ? Currently stripping the front end off my coupe gt and hopefully it can look half as good as your done
@@Resto.Nation i see, i couldn’t manage to get the top screws loose on both the headlights today so i’ll probably drill them out to avoid the risk of breaking the plastic. I’ll probably end up paying for the stardust chrome. Thanks for the tips!
Hi !
I have one right glass lens headlight for the RHD . Cibie. Very good condition.
Wow those headlight reflectors ...please take a 10/10 from me.
Thanks! The paint was worth the extra money.

@@paulhunter123 haha there’s a reason that he/she won’t mot it… and it says 1.8? Would that still be a 5 cylinder? Mines a 2.2kv

Looking good so far
Would you say that the stardust chrome paint is worth the premium over the other brands ? Being £40 a can
It’s the only one I’ve used but it was quality! I was expecting big things for the price tho…

@@mikeyalcock5729 I’m not sure if you can get them re chromed? When I read up on it, they were finished with a process call silvering from memory?
