Touch of Chaos It's one of the biggest, most open, beautiful looking and sounding games I have ever played. Really hard to put down, fairly challenging, a huge amount of content (EASILY 20 hours per save file). Imposing bosses, fascinating characters, non-intrusive story telling, it has it all, man. Fantastic metroidvania and game, mostly made by three people (and a composer) on a budget of 60k. Easily top 3 of my absolute favorites.
Everyone must get this game now, it is absolutely incredible!!! But whatever you do, DO NOT look up any of the lore, one of the best things about this game is figuring out the cryptic lore behind everything.

Team cherry knows that not everyone can afford their game, had the price been higher. They are independent and have judged that they would not focus on the material aspect of their creation. They see their work as art. Too precious to compare with the game industry. It's the only game I went and bought and full price while I could get a discount I chose not. I also believe that they won't increase the price on the sequel, because of their point of view of who should has access to their work. Hollow knight is, in my opinion, the best video game from every aspect.

I'm guessing Limited Run or Nicalis might do it, they've both done really good jobs bringing out physical releases of assorted Switch indie titles (Limited Run even recently announced some surprises like they're handling the physical release of Yaooka-Laylee, a game that originally Playtonic said probably wouldn't get a physical Switch release like PS4 and Xbox One got).
I have been playing it since a month ago. I think I can say in the future this game will be remembered as one of the best in the history of video games.
@@omegazx7236 SotN has a bunch of issues, you know. For example, if you just used a shield rod or farmed for the Crissaegrim, it becomes the easiest game in the world. It also doesn't offer much in terms of platforming, which was one of the mainstays of previous level based Castlevanias. Hollow Knight has no RPG elements and the only weapon upgrades you get is with upgrading your nail from Pale Ore. Basically, SotN was Dark Souls, and Hollow Knight is Sekiro, in the sense that combat is more engaging as a result of more streamlined progression.

@@omegazx7236 I've seen a playthrough where they randomly got a Crissaegrim and steamrolled the rest of the game, the smartest way to add it would have been a separate side quest. SoTN is still great, but the weapon balance was just not there.
Gorgeous art, charming characters, beautiful music, excellent gameplay, and a really generous price. Already own it on Steam and just purchased the Switch version. I highly recommend this game. 👍

Even the devs love the dung defender's theme, they went out of their way and made it for this trailer. And who can blame them.... This thing is wicked 🤘
If you are here and new to Hollow Knight. Please try this game. I found out about this game this year and love it. I even got my boyfriend into playing it. Without any spoilers given, it has around 5 endings, a lot of challenging bosses, and good DLCs. Plus the story is interesting.
The absolute pinnacle of mertroidvania gaming. Graphics, sound, music, exploration, even the way HD rumble is used, simply amazing. My only complaint is they are undercharging for it. This game is worth at least 2-3 times more than what they're charging. The developers deserve to be compensated better for this masterpiece.
