I'm Native American and on my grandfather's side there was that one cousin Stella who acted a fool at every funeral, at her mother's back in 97 she ran around the church about 44 times ran out the side door of the church and back though the front door to the casket about 37 times and by the time the pastor and ushers where able to catch her took about 2 hours! My grandfather said somebody get this fool so we can all go! And when my grandfather passed in 98 she tried it and we where all ready to jump and tackle her like the Baltimore ravens!!! 💪🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

I watched intently because if he got up I was running out the side door, knocking all the flowers down.. 😂😂😂BTW, she hadn't seen him in over 25 years. His family gave the funeral home over 50 names to put on the program.. We only put his siblings and mother..The one for the sister-in-law was worst. There where two of them screaming throughout the entire mass..My church ushers would have done a quick work with them ..#1Usher board don't play😂😂

Grandmother lined the WHOLE family up outside the funeral home, looked us over to ensure proper appearance, and DEMANDED we behave dignified..."Don't ONE of you embarrass this family in here." Her husband of 55 years is in there in a gorgeous coffin, and it's ALL about dignity. To this day, NONE of us knows how to emote😄. You know we're REALLY hurting if we dab a tear with a hanky. Same at church. If we dab a tear, you know we're REALLY in the spirit. 😏 I couldn't cut loose if my life depended on it. Mom died. I hurt so bad I wanted to let it out...and didn't even know HOW.😂

When i was a teenager we had a aunt who did the same thing at the cemetery when uncle was getting buried. She kept saying she wanted to go to so my little cousin pushed her in the whole with the casket. I laughed so hard i pissed myself....everybody was trying to get her out and of course she was trying to climb out to. They asked my cousin why did he do that and he said "she said she wanted to go to".

In a family funeral of mine, the whole thing ended up being about one person who demanded all the
attention for his grieving and kept acting like he was the only one who knew the deceased person. Then wrote
the eulogy all by himself as if nobody else had the right to say anything and then made it all about himself.
It was so depressing, I will carry that pain forever as this was the most important person in my life and I was
made to feel like a second rate citizen. Very painful but I think in death you find out who people really are,
or who they THINK they are 💔

True Story: My ex- husband's brother lost his wife about 15 years ago. She was white and had a beautiful spirit.We went to the funeral in Vidalia, Georgia. Her family sat on the right side of the church, and we sat on the left side. Her family played some of her favorite songs, nice and quick. Pastor(White) preached for about 10 minutes. So my ex- husband's brother had a special dedication for his wife. He went UP IN THE PULPIT gave a nod to the musician who played his tape. The song was I Miss You by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes with Teddy Pendergrass. The 15 minute version. With the rap. He sang the WHOLE SONG including the rap. Yes he did the rap." I had a cousin like this. I was 14 and my grandfather died. My cousin disappeared the day before the funeral and showed up late to the funeral the next day. When she show up she was crying and screaming acting a fool. Then got mad I was singing His Eye is on the Sparrow. I was only 14 but I wanted to push her in that grave like here you miss him so much then join him. Sorry y'all that's how I felt back then.

At my grandfather's funeral (2010) my momma was sitting on the front row and when it came time to view the body she went to stand up and fell out on the floor hollering and crying; my aunt(her sister) went to pick her up and she too fell out crying so now we got 2 crazies on the floor making a scene! I looked over at them on the floor and said to myself..."this will be funny one day"! LMAO true story!

LOL!! This brings back some memories of my uncle's funeral. My cousin was the guy that got up when she started rolling on the floor.🤣🤣🤣 My auntie was doing the most at her husband's funeral she rushed to marry a couple of weeks before he passed after they have been together for 20 years.. LOL🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ She was on the microphone putting on and throwing shots at his family and acting like she was a pastor. She was calling him husband over and over again even though they had just got married secretly on his deathbed. I think he wasn't even aware of what was going on. I wouldn't be surprised if she signed his name for him. 🤣🤣🤣 Anywho, she did all of this after she took all the rights from his family right before the funeral. They had no say so or rights over the obituary or any of his assets. We have a huge family. She put the names of almost everybody in our family in the obituary and only named the couple of his BLOOD family members.🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ And they didn't even know they got married until a couple of days before the funeral when they realize they couldn't do anything. So when she was up there at agonizing them while acting like she was under the Holy Spirit, we were all looking at each other in pure disbelief in shock. My cousin couldn't take it anymore and got up and tapped her on the shoulder and said Auntie, that's enough... LOL🤣🤣🤣 When my cousins and I all got together after the funeral, we created memories for life! We had so much fun laughing at my auntie and recreating what happened. I promise you my uncle's funeral would have been one of Tyler Perry's best movies!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
