Scarlett Amps Jr Dragster

The Scarlett Jr Dragster is a 15 watt EL84 based Class A hand built amp with a very dynamic preamp with a wide sweet spot for varied shades of dirt and can get pretty insane, but will clean right up with a guitar vol knob! In this demo I play my Tele straight in and play some simple stuff while playing around with the guitar vol knob and pickup selector. I never touch the amp settings and can get tons of different sounds with no effects or pedals! The cab is a Scarlett 4-12 loaded with greenbacks and the mic is a CAD Trion 8000 tube mic into a Tascam US1800 interface W/ Reaper as a DAW. No processing was done at all.

So on your amps what do the knobs actually do? I mean if it says "Pre" what does that DO? And on the bass, mid and treble, is "12:00" zero? Do the knobs boost and cut or are they like a mixer?
