I've just taken one of these apart and can't believe the lack of heatsink on the power device, as it has burned the pcb quite badly. Not very impressive.

Best recording of the CV-75 that shows the full spectrum. Considering putting one in my 2X12 G-Flex but worried about the bess becoming unmanageable. Might mix it with a Governor. Undecided.

Good sounding amp just not quite my style... But I sure wish somebody from the company would return my emails and messages... Trying to give you some work and offering your choice of repair/build /innovate/recreate???!!

It might have been done in haste or in an isolated location with a few caps on a frozen winter day and no chance to get to an electronics supply for something better. :)

So on your amps what do the knobs actually do? I mean if it says "Pre" what does that DO? And on the bass, mid and treble, is "12:00" zero? Do the knobs boost and cut or are they like a mixer?

Any update on how it sounds rewired? I was looking into one of these kits with the intention of upgrading the jacks and switches but if it's not a good sounding at least semi SLO sounding amp I'll skip it

I have a Fender Acoustasonic and some reason I'm getting some ghost distortion. I'm sure others can hear it, I'm not liking it. Send to be a problem with the Reverb circuit also, there's no Reverb signal. Maybe the two tie in together?

First the fuse might blow. Then the rectifier would blow and then the transformer might blow. But the chassis should be grounded. Really the main danger to the owner is the price of repair which could end up being very high in this case. That cap being "secured" that way is inexcusable. I have seen worse in amps though... The horror.

even though it's dated, I had the same problem. have you repaired your mixer? if so, do you have the reference of the components (resistor and transformer ...)? I replaced the irf540 transistor which was shorted but it's still overloaded. I think it will be best to buy a new one.

Weber amps are a great value. Lots of metal film in there. Low noise but carbon films would be alot better for tone.

Lmao! So I had the same exact soldering station called a sealody $45 dollars used for RC......terrible. I’m looking for a new and seen Hakko which I use at work. I’m scrolling through sites looking for a new station and my wife says what about that $40 right there... I said I’m getting the Hakko station. And so I’m scrolling videos on TH-cam and this is the first video that pops up as I search the Hakko videos. Her mouth dropped and said never mind. A million thanks to you sir!!!!
