If ' taste ' is your primary evaluation criteria, then you have left out three of the tastiest and best offerings in town! 1) Fish & Loaf - though limited in selection, however, the end products were exceptional and commendable!.....The yellow eel topping ones, unmatched! Great soy-sauce! 2) Ritzy Palace - Though a slightly higher-end Cantonese restaurant not known for offering Claypot rice. However, their solitary 'Chinese preserved meat' offering was superbly done! Generous, top quality toppings. 3) The Big Casserole - Large selection and well prepared Claypot Rice are the forte of his relatively new kid on the block at Major Mac/Leslie. Love the version with preserved salted fish, though the portion of the toppings could be a bit more generous.

Ur really obsessed with those crispy rice at the bottom. It's so funny the way u scrutinize the pot n soya sauce containers. I always judged the hygiene of the eatery by examining their condiment containers. Btw those long chopsticks look hilarious.

超過十年沒有在多倫多食煲仔飯。似乎每一煲臘味飯上面的臘腸不是切得太薄就是臘味種類和分量都不多。膶腸是靈魂，沒有膶腸就要扣分。煲仔飯豉油也要特別煮調的，好味豉油加入靚煲飯簡直雙得益彰。希望遲兩個月過嚟多倫多還有煲仔飯應市。
許多餐館的臘腸切得太薄來降低成本, 但這會讓顧客望而卻步 !
這段片實在有著無數喜歡的地方: 1:同樣食物在不同食館的比較。2. 好"玩"的鬼馬辨聲開場白。3. 有衝勁有懷舊的音樂及画面。4. 片中的評分音樂及画面氣勢可媲美 Master Chef 或電影頒獎禮, 好有 feel。👍👍

單看樣子應該都是my kitchen 取勝，正宗煲仔飯臘味應該是切半吋長度直立在飯面而不是切片，切片祇是慳材料，以前乙龍天就能做到！

今日去光顧，臘味煲仔飯有飯焦料也多，很好吃，但咖哩牛腩好唔得，咖哩除了咸完全無味，我對食物一向要求不高也覺得很難食。
