My real estate course was awful. There really wasn't enough of a test prep component, which was frustrating, and I retained VERY little. That was January 2016. Fast forward to this past week, when I learned I had to take the exam before my registration for the exam would expire. I had a big packet of info, but no helpful notes. I found your webinars and spent every free moment this week listening to and watching them...at home, in the car, on a laptop, on a phone...I even listened to one on the way to the exam. I was learning almost every concept for the very first time. I wasn't sure it would be enough to pass, so I didn't bother to even do my hair before the exam. I didn't believe I'd walk away with a license with my picture on it. When I started reading the questions on the test, I could actually hear your voice teaching me about the concepts! I am so excited to say that I passed my national and state exams on the first try! Your webinars are fantastic. I'm a high school teacher and your teaching style is just wonderful! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Joe!! I took my California test on June 8, 2017 (last Thursday) at 8:30am. I studied for months and months, went to Barnes and Nobles (my husband is so sweet for going with me and supporting all of my studying hours at Starbucks...etc. Even bought me cupcakes and flower the night before my test haha). Anywho, the morning of my exam, I arrived early and sat in my car re-reading some of my notes. I stopped and said..."I'm going to watch TH-cam in case I missed something". This video popped up! I have to say with confidence that all of the questions regarding all of the above, I got right. I finished my exam in 2 hours and PASSED!!!!! Thanks for this video for refreshing and guaranteeing my prior knowledge about these topics! Woooohooooo!!!

Just passed my exam about 1.5 hours ago. Thanks for all your videos! I did have one video pertaining to RESPA and kickbacks. Some things I could or could not remember from studying were... Federal notes that I made were: 1. regarding earnest money is a credit to the buyer on the settlement statement (I didn't remember seeing this in any of my studying.) 2. metes and bounds 3. CAN-SPAM act regarding emailing. 4. using the amoritization table that they provided. Michigan specific questions were: 1. How many days does the broker have to deposit earnest money (2 days from notification). 2. How many trust accounts can a broker have (more than 1). 3. Dividing land under the Michigan Land Division Act.

Hi, if you know the definition of the words then you are good to go. some of the questions was very easy because I knew the definitions, therefore I was able to eliminate the wrong answer choices right away. Like Joe said in the videos KNOW THE TERMS...if you know the terms you can apply them to any situation they throw at you. Also, the day before the exam while driving, cooking, cleaning, taking a shower I was listening to Joe's videos. For some reason I felt ready the day of the exam andI was very relaxed while I was taking the exam. Good Luck....Study the terms
GM, roughly 10-13 math questions than you have a lot of scenarios so make sure you the know the terms (definitions) principles and the laws for which ever the state you taking the exam for (for example: Georgia 105 national questions and 45-50? laws/rules that applied to GA). Review Joe videos and should be just fine...Good luck!

You are right. It kind of felt like she was a little unsure of herself but Joe made her realize by the end that she could have confidence in her answers and she was not all that far off so she started nailing them. His patience and faith in people really goes a long ways for all of us.
Go Girl - you did well - you now know more than you did before this lesson. The purpose is for everyone to learn, not to be bashed as we learn. It was mentioned that he had no other material on this and he was GLAD that she asked.

So what I have noticed is this... since I have been taking the practice exams on each section everyday as well as listening to your videos each day. I notice that most of the videos tend to be the same few concepts. I would love to see explanatory on each and every concept for all of the practice exams. Joe, these are great learning tools, thank you. 2 questions regarding the Q&A (1) in your question regarding discrimination - you are saying that Discrimination in the sale or rental of residential housing based on S, MS, C, R, R NO of the prospective buyer is “Unenforceable” and “Contrary to public Policy” But that is not true. Is the answer not “B. Illegal” ??? (2) Under TILA which of the following need NOT be included in the total “finance Charge” (how come the answer is not “C” premium for the FHA life insurance … who cares about a life insurance premiums. For new test takers 31:38 Prep agent said no other year matters but on my test i got a question asking which fair housing law got added in 1988. So it would be a good idea to know when each one got added thats a free question answer. I think 1974 added Sex, 1988 added Family Status/Religion

I love using Prep agent to study. However, I'm looking at a quiz in my Modern Real Estate Practice book that says that Marital Status is NOT a protected class under the Fair Housing Act. ??

Wow people will find a negative in everything! This video was very helpful & informative and all people can say in the girl was aggravating because she didn't study!???? Y'all are just so ignorant, you guys don't know that for a fact! It could've been her feeling so nervous! It could've been she had a learning disability like dyslexia or something! Plus you obviously didn't watch the entire video where she was nailing the questions at the end and was getting everything right! People will really find anything to hate or bully others about...... If this girl sees these comments you did a great job! #SpreadMorePositivity

You are right. It kind of felt like she was a little unsure of herself but Joe made her realize by the end that she could have confidence in her answers and she was not all that far off so she started nailing them. His patience and faith in people really goes a long ways for all of us.

So what I have noticed is this... since I have been taking the practice exams on each section everyday as well as listening to your videos each day. I notice that most of the videos tend to be the same few concepts.
I would love to see explanatory on each and every concept for all of the practice exams. Because you always come up with phenomenal memory tricks which have tremendously helped me.

2 questions regarding the Q&A
(1) in your question regarding discrimination - you are saying that Discrimination in the sale or rental of residential housing based on S, MS, C, R, R NO of the prospective buyer is “Unenforceable” and “Contrary to public Policy” But that is not true. Is the answer not “B. Illegal” ???
(2) Under TILA which of the following need NOT be included in the total “finance Charge” (how come the answer is not “C” premium for the FHA life insurance … who cares about a life insurance premiums.

For new test takers 31:38 Prep agent said no other year matters but on my test i got a question asking which fair housing law got added in 1988. So it would be a good idea to know when each one got added thats a free question answer. I think 1974 added Sex, 1988 added Family Status/Religion

I love using Prep agent to study. However, I'm looking at a quiz in my Modern Real Estate Practice book that says that Marital Status is NOT a protected class under the Fair Housing Act. ??
