I thought the rigged in comment was about chaewon actually. Early Izone a lot of people were surprised (and some mad) because chaewon was in the line up when she didn't really stand out much in pd48, and she didn't really rank high. A lot would even claim that she was 'definitely' rigged in. But then, she turned into one of izone's most popular member. Now that shut the haters down.

1. The victim has clear evidence. Not just a yearbook photo with the victim handwriting on top of it.
2. The victim hired a lawyer. Money is involved to stand their ground.
3. The victim (or their law team) contacted mass media and not just by random exposure on social media
4. Ministry of education Involvements (or their comments at least)
5. Lacks of reliable defends for garam by people from their schools.
And yet you want them to relax. Never settle for such a world where the victim has to watch their bully be successful and be happy while they are left in the pain caused by this person
Not then using the "She/he was a bully in middle/high school" card. We've gone through this with a lot of idols before, and not a single one of them has turned out to be true. Keeping into consideration how common bullying is in Korean schools, there has to be at least 2/10 idols that did actually bully other people. @@zenappa3738 yes. The GG was Glam. One of the members was involved in blackmailing actor Lee Byung Hun, along with her friend. And one more member was known for being a sasaeng of SJ (I maybe wrong about this). It's unfortunate for the other members.

I'm willing to listen to Korean female fans that say the images are problematic. Westerners live in a very different culture than Korea. Yes, Korean culture is more conservative and modest. However, I would bet a Korean woman would be able to spot when a fellow woman is being exploited in their culture. The clothes might not be bad, but the girls don't control how they are shot and the images that are released. The shoot might seem innocent on set, but can turn pretty sketchy with certain angles and cropping. Women expressing themselves is great, but keep in mind none of the concepts, clothes, or image was their actual idea or choice. The end product is ultimately controlled by someone else here.

I am worried as well (on the age factor) however I gv hype a benefit of doubt since JK did debut at a young age as well. Bighit/Hype have a good reputation of protecting their artist; there’s many occasions they file a law suit to protect members of BTS even when they were not famous.
I'm also low-key worried abt the comments skimming over the whole Casting Call thing to talk about the bullying accusations. Because bullying accusations are a dime a dozen for idols and you'd think the whole 'minors being involved in a video that hints about sex' would be the more pressing issue.
Like Hybe protects its artists but they've only had male groups who've debuted bc GFriend disbanded not long after HYBE bought them so the company doesn't have any experience managing female idols.

I personally think that the HYBE goes into the realm of "Hate it or Love it". Considering some dark PR moves such as the scandals and creating an outrage at this point. Next, they will find people who will support the group no matter what (it would be the main fanbase), and go with a return investment mindset. I can bet that the prices for the merch with the group and their concerts will be up to 30-40% higher than the others to maintain the idea of exclusivity. In any case, HYBE will be the one to blame and girls will be as innocent as they were before debuting. If the scheme will go by such narration - the group name "Le sserafim" or "Fearless" is spot on and the girls are a lot tougher than they look.

alright, we had controversies about IZ*ONE (the show being rigged and some trainees unfairly getting in) - they were the monster 4th gen rookies and could be even more popular if it wasnt for the contract and covid. we had controversies about AESPA (i think i don't have to explain) - they are now the most popular 4th gen female group. i think lesserafim is going to do just fine, especially because hybe isn't an absolute trash company at promoting their idols

1. izone was rigged, confirmed by mnet but that was way later in the debut and contract so noone knew the truth and loved the group bc it was a nicely formed group, wizone decided to not really care about it bc they were already a fan of each members.
2. Aespa situation was proven false, there were literally zero photos or anything , just words plus sm pushed karina haaard.
3. garam's image is already ruined even if the rumors are false, atleast in korea. And Koreans dont really love sakura bc of her previous actions.
4. hybe actually do suck at promoting their idols and protecting their idols.
They never successfully ever protected bts from anything plus they never work hard to promote,

There have been multiple cases where one person makes a false claim, and then the rest of the internet runs with it to ruin someone’s life. Whether or not the claim is true right now doesn’t matter. What currents matters is that there is no evidence, no evidence to show those netizens went to Garam’s school, no evidence from victims themselves, no evidence from anything to back up the claims.
It’s innocent until proven guilty, and those netizens don’t have much an argument backing them.

This is insane, I had no idea about all of this. One of the reasons I wasn't that trustful of BigHit being a part of other companies as Hybe, was because of the possible outcome of losing control of the decision making Bang Shihyuk has always been making. I feel like there are so many people involved now that's hard to keep tab on everyone and everything that goes on. I don't want to speculate but HYBE will probably still going to debut them. Losing Garam will cause mishaps and if they kick Sakura out as well, there won't be left for the group. Besides, some 4th generation groups were involved in plagiarism the first they debuted, some even got called out for having horrible music, and now they're one of the most influential groups in this generation. This issue caused their name to be written on the top searches, boasting their reputation (even though it's negative), but they got publicity so it's a good promotion despite being involved in a controversy. People love issues but they will soon forgot about it once the girls proved that they are worthy of being in HYBE girl group.
But if Garam's issue is real, idk. HYBE is somewhat really fishy, they've been involved in a lot of controversies nowadays, probably because of the new management.
I'm just waiting for their debut, to me I just want some good music made by good people. So I'll wait til they debut and for the rumors to be proven true or false. But for right now, I'll be hoping for a beautiful debut for these girls.

Maybe (very conspiracy) it is HYBe who wants to make some rumors to hype LE SSERAFIM a bit for the debut BUT it backfires? I first thought it's was kind of cool (high-end models), but now i watched it again: it might be not that appropriate for especially the three minor girls. And if their own female staff complains about it, I really think HYBe should think about it again.
