  • We love creating stickers using Procreate!
There's a few things to keep in mind though: keep it CMYK - separate Effect layer - export as PSD and upload to StickerApp.com - that's it :)
    --- STEP-by-STEP ---
    -- CMYK
As with all things printed, we need to start with a CMYK color profile canvas.
Click the plus sign on the top right corner. Instead of selecting any of the templates, select a custom canvas by clicking the plus sign on the upper right corner.
Choose your desired dimensions and select "Color Profil" on the left. Choose "Generic CMYK Profile" and click "Create"
Now it's time to get to work.
    -- Separate Effect layer
When you're satisfied with your design, combine your layers into one and name that layer "Design".
Create a new layer and name that layer "Effect". This is where your chosen material will show.
Choose a contrasting color and - on the effect layer - fill in the parts of your design where you wish to have the material showing.
B.t.w. we have the most awesomest materials in town! Check em out at stickerapp.com/materials
    -- Export as PSD
When you're done, select the Actions panel by clicking the wrench on the upper left. Choose "Share" and select PSD.
    -- Upload to StickerApp.com
Go to StickerApp.com in your browser. Click "Make Custom Sticker" and "Upload File"
Find your design and make adjustments to the size, quantity and material.
Don't forget to add a comment saying that you've made your own effect layer, and hit save.
Never mind that your preview is showing your effect layer, we will manually apply all the effects exactly as you drew them.
    That's it.
    Now go create some stickers!

Is there any way to customize the Cutline on procreate? the cutline always seems to be way too chunky when I try to upload something with even the smallest cutline setting

Sorry, not in Procreate 😔 but you can make your own in Illustrator 🙂 or just drop a line in the comment area saying that you want the tightest cutline possible 👍

I tried following this video exactly to make some custom holographic stickers, but when I got them, it looked like the holographic effect was just printed over the “contrasting color” effect layer. Needless to say, this means they looked pretty wacky. Any tips for how to prevent this? I made sure to leave a comment about my effect layer in the design process.
    Thanks!

Hi there! We're sorry to hear that the stickers didn't turn out as expected, it could be that the comment was missing from the order or that the file was not sent in as a layered PSD. You can contact us via email at info@stickerapp.com and we can help you find out what went wrong! :)

How should I send a design already with an ideal white cut line? I don’t want the cut lines sticker app offers in website because they aren’t smooth. I want my own I made through procreate

Hi! Just upload your file with the white procreate cutline and a transparent background and leave us a comment to “use own cutline” and we’ll use the shape you provided in your file!

OK... I tried to make partial glitter. But if I delete the space (so it's empty) than I only get the silvery/greyish Glitter... But I want the Cmyk Glitter... How I do that? Also I did an order with a comment but the comment were ignored because they didn't change something

What happens if we don’t add any “effects” layer but still order “Holographic”, would it still come out fine or would it not work?
Does the “effects” layer need to be purple/pinkish like the video or what color works best for the “effects” layer?
What does adding an “effects” layer to one area of the design and leaving the rest without “effects” look like?… does the area with “effects” only come out with “holographic” or what happens?
What happens if we leave a comment and the comment goes unseen, do you offer a re-print and ship it out with no cost to the customer? Sticker aren’t cheap.

      Hi,
      Here are the answers.
What happens if we don’t add any “effects” layer but still order “Holographic”, would it still come out fine or would it not work?
      - Then we will apply the effect as we see fit. But we suggest you leave us a comment in the order specifying where you want the effect on the sticker.
Does the “effects” layer need to be purple/pinkish like the video or what color works best for the “effects” layer?
      - You can choose the color as long we can see clearly where to apply the effect. For example, you can leave a comment in the order saying " everything pink in the effect layer add effect".
What does adding an “effects” layer to one area of the design and leaving the rest without “effects” look like?… does the area with “effects” only come out with “holographic” or what happens?
      - If you email info@stickerapp.com we can send you an example.
What happens if we leave a comment and the comment goes unseen, do you offer a re-print and ship it out with no cost to the customer?
      - If the stickers don´t turn out the way you expect them to we will of course help you and find a solution. This can have different outcomes depending on the issue with the sticker :)

I have a question….let’s say your sticker had two characters where there are outfits of two different colours….like one was blue and one was yellow. can I get holographic or mirror effects in the two colours on a single sticker? I am just asking because I am preparing artwork with that kind of vision but I am not too sure if its possible.

    • @stickerapp
      @stickerapp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Hi there! Of course, if you’re making an effect layer then both of the outfits' effect layers can have the same color (remember to let us know that there is an effect layer in your comment!). Alternatively, you could leave out the effect layer and just write us a comment stating that both of the outfits/colors should be holographic/mirror and we will adjust that for you! :)

@@stickerapp Please do if you haven’t already, that’s been a point of confusion for me today! I wanted my sticker sheets to have a custom cutline for each sticker on the sheet, but am uncertain how to efficiently draw a clean cutline (preferably in Procreate, though I also have CSP and GIMP on PC) with my sketchy, textured linework/edges and don’t have Illustrator. Should I just ask y’all to draw the cutline for me?
