Had a ‘21 and it was a beast. Averaged over 8.2mpg and she’d snatch a load up a grade. One thing I’d recommend is changing that factory coax and put on your own antenna. I burned up a General Lee in no time because of the garbage they installed. (The pencil thin coax was skinned up from install when I fished it out).

Don’t buy this pos truck ! Engine not bad and durable but lots of electrical issues , interior so cheap and plastic that everything rattles on every bump. My friend had 2 of them with super low miles . Sold both of them at 350k miles
Congratulations on the Mack. I drove a Mack Pinnacle for WSE (Willis Shaw Express) I also worked at the place where they build the cabs for them. Pinnacle and anthem. I would not get in one now to save my life now.

@@ridingwithkev My cousin who lives in Middleton, Wisconsin, suburb of Madison had severe thunderstorms at 1am this morning. Tornado about 15 miles to the south. Tomorrow. 2 to 4 inches of snow. I see I 80, 70 and 40 closed in spots. Glad you shut it down.

Yep it's a Volvo engine I use to hall to Volvo in Dublin va out of the plant in Hagerstown md and Mack in Macungie PA out of same plant in Hagerstown md.
I drive a 2020 10 speed daycab hauling fuel and it’s so nice and out of all modern trucks they have the emissions figured out and never have any issues and I’m going on 500k miles and my coworkers only need to deal with dpf filter or 1 unit close to 1 million miles 900k ish

I know people who work for landstar and JB and they are definitely happy. My company is technically always hiring but that is always based on truck availability. If he has an empty truck he’s hiring. I’ll keep you updated.

Hi man. All my life I have been driving european trucks and recently I started to drive the American version.. for the highway are fantastic but... NOT for anything else! Believe me! I have the feeling of driving these trucks that are not refined ... The SCANIA R450 that I was driving was much better...
Yeah I was driving a conventional one you needed two guys to open the hood because one side we don't latch the other side would about the horses riding cat I ever was in and I'm 66 years old just retired in April
I drove the New model just recently for a week, day cab. Yes the seat is comfortable....but... It lacks suspension comfort Going over Pot holes, Bridge joints, And whatever else the road might throw at me is horrible My body is sore at the end of the day

And that didn’t even fill it up. It was had about 10 gallons in it but I’ve got 275 gallon capacity. The fuel card ran out of money 😂.

It does have the Mack transmission but I don’t think it has the Mack rear end. I want the gold bulldog

Have you had problems with mpg? Mine was averaging 9mpg at 60mph loaded. Now its doing 7.9mpg at 60mph even empty 🤔
I do t have this truck anymore, but I always check air pressure and fuel filters if i ever see an unexplained drop in mpg

It was good. I still think my preferred truck all around is KW/Peterbilt. Just for design and ride quality.

I believe you mistaken the engine rpm for the torque… The engine is 445hp at 1700rpm… I believe that engine makes more than 1800ft-lb.
