Beautiful Piece. I have been wanting to try a segmented bowl myself. Thought I would get my skill set up far enough, so I am pretty sure I won't destroy some more expensive hard wood. I have seen some other turners on here use a sanding disk that goes onto the head stock of the lathe sanding those segmented disks. Maybe an option you can use?
