    - Eh... The Barbarian Kings host was oddly lackluster... Only 10 guys accompanying the king and most of them reavers. Still damn dangerous to fight against.
    - Honestly, the corpse eaters felt more dangerous than the king. Just because of the size of the horde. Doesn't help any that the big ones can literally eat a brother alive.
    - Brigands begging for mercy? Hah! They ask for mercy when they've certainly given none to their victims?
    - Thinking of your luck on previous defense contracts, this one went rather smoothly. Odd how it still failed...
As for the Paymaster, it's entirely up to you. I don't see it being a bad thing

At Hermannshof, you got a noble contract to defend Thunstetten from raiding parties. You didn't take it, but southerns were raiding the town by the time you got there. When you accepted the village contract to defend Thunstetten (from undead), the southerns were still in the process of pillaging the outskirts, and they destroyed the location while your contract was in effect. I'm guessing that the game checks the status of the locations rather than which groups of enemies are defeated. It's also possible that you needed to fight the undead alongside the noble house in order for it to count.
You did take one raiding party defense contract a few episodes ago (defending against southerns). You got paid in full there, but the flavor text showed that your employer acknowledges the destruction of an outskirt location. It's possible noble and village contracts have different triggers for whether they withhold pay.

As of the end of the video, the score goes this way :
    Junaid the Lion : 182 + 6 = 188
    Jahaf the Bear : 81 + 4 = 85
    Amira the Viper : 201 + 9 = 210
    Husni : 68 + 2 = 70
    Reyhnart : 83 + 3 = 86
    Kalle : 115 + 13 = 128
    Shurayd Ibn Asili : 86 + 11 = 96
    Henrik the Beasthunter : 41 + 6 = 47
    Insuh : 27 + 10 = 37
    Geralt : 41 + 16 = 57
    Grimwald : 12 + 10 = 22
    Sir Sigmund : 6 + 3 = 9
    32 + 2 = 34 Ennemies retreated
Number of kills taken directly from the end screen of each battle, wich means the point goes to the guy who did the last blow. Number of ennemy retreat might be innacurate as I begin to count as soon as I see enemies fleeing. I might miss a few, or attribute a dead one by mistake.
Here are the contracts taken in the video :
Hunt Barbarian King (two skulls) 2880 crowns
Drive off Brigands (three skulls) 2090 crowns
Defend town (three skulls) 2220 crowns (got only 1110) (I think they hadn't finished raiding so the contract saw that a holding was raided during the contract)
Named objects collection (newest first) :
    Barbarian Ravager
    Sir Dankwart's Willbreaker
    Ibn Wasi's Thunderrod
    Fallen Hero's Desolation
    Unsung Hero's Shooter
    The Warden
    Diethelm the Hyena's Clan Helmet
    The Butcher's Heraldic Mail
    Sir Hildebrand's Sallet with Mail

I was just thinking to myself, "Gosh, his troops are all of such high quality compared to mine" when I saw that they're eating 800 crowns a DAY.

53:32 Yes, the contract only checks if the buildings have been recently raided, not that if the scripted raiders did it or not.

I will say get the pay master, cause if you need a lot of money in your bank to have some fun in the wilderness, but before your inventory if full your run out of money to pay your bros, that's not so fun I will say .

paymaster is great, it just cuts like half of your wages of your bros, so you don’t need to do contracts like everyday to keep up with the wages, plus it’s a time saver

I think it was intended by devs that Paymaster is locked out for Gladiators and Lone Wolf. It makes sense and rule-wise you should not get him, but the call is yours.

So the paymaster is entirely up to you to decide maybe a bit cheaty for the other viewers
it's whether you prefer the scavenger more or the paymaster for a mod?

Why gladiators shouldn't be able to get the paymaster? Anyway, you can decide for yourself if you enjoy playing with mods or not. Imho, the game is a lot better with them and the community is doing a great job.

@@Tomas-ir8xl I enjoy games with mods actually and it seems like there are no dudes to disagree frozen getting the paymaster in his gladiator campaign for the mod.

I don't think him getting the paymaster as a mod for the gladiators is much of a change, much like he got last series a mod to jack up Champion encounters/numbers. It's his choice for fun, and we already know Frozen is playing at all other hardest modes, and will be paying fair price for it all. He's playing the game as intended, and realistically the Paymaster won't really change anything in a big way.
