I find that when fighting chosen my bros turn into funko pops. Their bodies shrink and their heads get bigger. Then the chosen get a ton of head shots.
I still remember when the warriors of the north dlc was released. I met chosen for the first time while fighting orcs warriors. They got properly fucked by the chosen.
the thing with the late game is when you get tanky and have enough DPS since only so many enemies can sound you it overwhelming numbers doest mean to much when the enemy has only melee
Your recent videos have fights against enemies that are not too threatening (at least in my case), because they are against humanoids. What about against stuff like Schrats, Lindwurms, and Unholds? Can you show those videos? I am not sure how viable it is to have 1 shield users against large groups of those monsters.
@@imzfrozen Honestly i have watched your last let’s play twice, so maybe a new playthrough by chance? I mean it’s such a fun watching you playing this game with technique, especially i am not the one suffering from rng- high blood pressure 😂
Love your videos Frozen, been a big fan of your videos for a while. I was wondering if you are interested in doing a Battle Brothers Legends mod run? I dunno how often you do modded version of Battle Brothers but I thought you would be interested in Legends?
Do you have a list of your favorite mods somewhere? I have a hard time figuring out which ones work and work the way I want, and you seem to have found some!
what is that flame thrower thing? ive never seen that. And that crazy sword thing that hits three people one after another lol. Where the hell did you find all this stuff?
it's a mod. When someone with the perk "killing frenzy" kills an enemy and getts the correspondent buff, it's eyes turn red. When the buff goes off, the eyes go back to normal. Aside from being a cosmetic addition, it also allows the player to see at first glance wether the buff it's active or not.
It's nearly possible. Explanation: peasant militia blocks you all non-lowborn backgrounds to hire, but gives you bigger battle roster. For making good PM unit he needs 57 mellee attack at start (max for most lowborn backgrounds) and 2 MA stars (will gain +3MA each level up) + perk "gifted", wich gives him a free stats level without random, so it's +3MA. Result: 90MA at 11lvl, is kind ok. Problem is mellee defence, with 2 stars in MD(+3 MD each level) and "gifted" (+3MD at free stats level without random) he will get only 33MD at level 11 with gifted ( most lowborns don't have MD at start by all, but not everyone, max for most is 5MD). For understanding - hedge knight(combat background, not able in peasant militia) can have 67MA at start(max), so it will be 100MA on level 11 with 2MA stars + gifted, and 5MD(it's min, max for this background is 12) at start with 2MD stars and gifted will result a 38MD at level 11(45MD as max). You will get a little weaker units, much more fragile, but it's competitive, cause you have 16 units in battle instead 12, it is potentially +33% of damage per turn that your company can deal.
Do you dislike dragging others into your fights? You never seem to do that, do you feel it's cheating or maybe dumb? Like using a caravan to get some meat shields or fighting a chasing enemy over a hostile camp and making it a three-way fight
I don't think it's cheating or dumb but I do that because I want to kill all the enemies by myself. It's actually a good strategy on early game when you're not that strong.
@@imzfrozen I can see why some people would think it would be a bad pr move for mercenaries to drag others into their fights. Also you can waste a lot of time if you try to do it, and that's why you not doing it made it look efficient and disciplined. Same happens when you don't chase any weak enemies or when you do not try to play too optimally in a situation that does not deserve your full attention, like chasing fleeing enemies
There is something oddly therapeutic in watching you winning a seemingly unwinable battle

You made Barbarian Chosen look like a bunch of brigands. Awesome work, man
I love how you named your brothers after famous historical figures and legends
Frozen you’re a legend. Been watching your vids since before the 1st Dlc was released
Barbarian Chosen are the strongest human enemies imo. They just have to get lucky once to cleave a Brothers head off.
I would say that blade dancers from the last DLC are a bit stronger, but Chosens are also very tough

So many skulls on sticks. Epic.
Im one minute in and have no idea how you gonna be at all them and those unholds but I know you will, I wish I could build my company to be so strong
I will simply stand quietly in aw.

Ehm... is it possible with low born guys? Like to play for peasant militia
Probably not. You need the base stats from a good background to have strong units. And also a lot of stars in stats for good rolls.
