Around 52:11, i think i'd try to bait the 600 army near the 900 army. Siegers never break a siege to chase you, but they count as friendly troops if a battle starts close enough to the siege camp. If you manage it, you can then negotiate with your allies and buy all the nobles, then execute them. (ah, i see you got it after a while) As for how: check an allied troop for prisoners. If any of the prisoners show as being wounded, they are lords. Regular troops that get captured were wounded by default, so when you see "cavalry: 54 + 2w" you know they have two lords captured. You can see it even from a distance by using the alt key to see more info on allied troops. Then go in, make an offer and buy the prisoners. For me they always charge 1 coin for any amount of prisoners, but i hear 1.6.5 fixed that. BUT you have to be fast. As soon as a noble captures another, they beeline for the nearest city and put it there. Calling the winner to your army works if they're very close, but generally you have to catch them before they reach the jail. Another trick i'll advice is to use other clan members as recruiters. Take all troops from one of them, leaving only 10 or so so they wont die to looters, and dismiss them from the army. They'll go back to recruiting, leaving you free to do other stuff. I'd also advise keeping a few prisoners, like 5 or so, because its free recruiting. Let's see what else... Leave a weak garrison at a border castle, because enemies will ALWAYS go siege it. I think you ended up doing it with Vlandia, but i'm not sure if it was on purpose. If i might ask though, why not kill the mercs? You'll have to fight them over and over as they switch from one kingdom to the next. I get that they'll die if they stay to the end, but at least when the opportunity presents itself you might as well. Costs half a second, and has a good chance of saving an allied army or keeping a village from being raided so you can recruit from it. Even if they're neutral, its more parties taking up recruits.
Final idea before i go to sleep: Stick to a kingdom all the way through as a vassal. Then give up all your fiefs so you can get voted and always have the city nearest to the warzone, because that's where your allies will deposit all the nobles they capture. This way you might be able to get a bunch of NPCs to do your job for you, but i have little idea if it would work other than "it kinda worked for me by accident a couple of times". Another risky move would be to leave a city with a small garrison and close-ish to the front but not as the first line. The enemy comes to siege it, your allies break the siege and immediately deposit all the enemies in your dungeon. I've done this by accident when my kingdom was at war on multiple fronts and it works pretty well... until the enemy actually took the city, but by then i had already gotten like 8-10 heads without having to fight for any of them.

I'm not sure I fully understand how this would work. Sounds like it could be good, but I'm just unsure. My strategies for farming prisoners as a vassal are underdeveloped at the moment. What I can say though, is that I need to make my own kingdom pretty early so that I can farm enough influence to pass all the policies I want and 500 for the first vassal. All of this should be done before the first inheritance. In this particular run the inheritance was delayed by like 45mins so I had plenty of influence, but I'm not sure that is always the case. >>Another risky move would be to leave a city with a small garrison and close-ish to the front but not as the first line. The enemy comes to siege it, >>your allies break the siege and immediately deposit all the enemies in your dungeon. I've done this by accident when my kingdom was at war >>on multiple fronts and it works pretty well... until the enemy actually took the city, but by then i had already gotten like 8-10 heads without >>having to fight for any of them. Again, sounds like it could be good, but I'm unsure since it sounds like another thing were you'd need to stay as a vassal for longer.
To illustrate my point of an ungarrisoned castle: around 2:50:00 you accidentally leave only like 4 dudes in Veron Castle and they immediately go for a siege. That's a great bait, since even small lords will go for the siege. And once they start building the siege camp they'll be disorganized if they try breaking the siege.
And yeah, i've been giving this sort of strategy some thought because it's very similar to a "autoresolve-only world domination" challenge i've been doing. Can't do sieges with autoresolve, so eliminating all the nobles is the way to go. Which reminds me: autoresolve gives less weight than it should to elite troops. So you can actually use bandits and militia to a decent extent, or at least dump them in a castle somewhere. This actually makes breaking a village raid pretty good, since you get some 5-10 militia for free. Another trick i'd never use in a normal playthrough but might be good on a speedrun would be to leave wounded troops in a garrison. Sometimes you're walking around with like 90 troops and 130 wounded. That's when you should consider putting the wounded ones at a castle (when you transfer units away the game always sends the wounded ones first) and picking fresh ones. The downside is not leveling your medicine, but it should speed things up quite a bit.
Great run, learnt so many new things. A lot of the flashy streamers dont get into the detail of the game. Few things ive noted if anyone can clarify: * you have your parties all the lower tier units. Is there better pay off giving higher tier? * can you sign mercenary contracts once you become king? * noticed you voted for a city even though the outcome % was lower. One event you had 1-2% lower and still got it. * how does the inheritance work? One plan must have a castle in the dejure or the oriignal kingdom? * whats the sweet spot for speed of your party? * how do you decide which items to keep?
Hey man great video! I was actually very surprised it got only ~18k views. I initially though its due to save-reload, but I now think that its just too long. I watched at least 3 hours of it but its repetitive. My suggestion is to keep this of course, but make also a montage of important parts, and then link this video as a proof to that one. 20 min video could cover all the important milestones, and it would be so much fun to watch, and the most important aspect will be that you have linked the full video as a reference. Just a friendly suggestion, Im not a youtuber, and have no idea how things actually work here, but great job! Hope you post more
(Btw I understand if you didnt do this for a video, but its really very nice, so just a little work of editing, would help a lot more people enjoy your achievement)

@Lesser Scholar, at 36:18, when you select 2 handed sword, your previous template automatically loaded with all the previously selected tiers/settings. But for me, it always loads with tier 1 parts. Is there a setting/mod to do this? i'm playing on campaign, v1.6.5
Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but why do you execute lords? To weaken the enemy and not have them respawn? I usually avoid relation losses out of personal preference.
When all the lords of a kingdom are dead, their lands are given to a nearby kingdom/clan. In this run, I make sure everything is given to me. So I get all the fiefs by executing all enemy nobles.
@@babyray5643 Get 300 trade, a lot of money and influence. Then you can do what I did here th-cam.com/video/MeQxTwYMObo/w-d-xo.html Use influence and 300 trade to recruit a lot of noble clans for "free" (you pay them with fiefs you can get back with influence through voting)

Many thanks !
wow, speedruns hypnotize me and this was awesome (edit: quick question why trade skill 300? as far as i remember it gives the ability to buy castles and cities but you did not use it did you? )
@@LesserScholar Please explain. I've watched, but I still don't understand how they gave them to you. I've tried that and they give them to minor factions that don't even have fiefs instead of giving them to me, so I'm left killing everyone on the map who isn't in my immediate family. Its exhausting.
@@keithreed5952 The basic version of rules of inheritance is as follows: Geographically closest clan inherits; Player's own clan cannot inherit; If inheriting clan is a vassal, their liege inherits instead. As far as I understand landless minor clans should not be able to inherit, but rebels clans with land can. If you have a save file where landless clan inherits I would be interested to see that.
@@LesserScholar Ok, correction...it was a landless minor rebel clan that I hadn't exterminated. They were still at war wtih the eliminated kingdom. It was just my clan and two landless minor rebel clans (living in my cities) and I didn't inherit anything. One point of clarification..."Geographically closest clan inherits"...closest to what? The main city of the eliminated Kingdom or to their Kingdom as a whole? Players own clan cannot inherit...then how do you get them? This helps a ton. Thank you so much. I've spent hundreds of hours with my current playthrough and it has been frustrating...I've quit multiple times and played other games. I haven't watched the entire play through, but are you "buying" captured Lords to execute from other Kingdoms? I love that mechanic. After a large, failed siege, you can scoop up half a dozen easy and then declare war on the wounded party you just purchased them from and eliminate a dozen Lords in one blow. Great videos. Thank you!!
@@keithreed5952 Position of a clan is a weighted average of their settlements. So just imagine where the center of mass is located. I create a vassal clan that inherits. So I trade castles until my vassal is close to the center of the dying enemy kingdom. I sometimes buy enemy lords for executing, yes. I probably didn't do that often enough in this run.
If you have an older pc, you could try out the prequel, Warband. It has worse combat and graphics, but it's more balanced and has more mechanics & stuff to do.
@@LesserScholar The combat being perceived as worse is very subjective. Most mp-focused people prefer Warband's combat and many still play it to this day. Bannerlord is undeniably prettier though and the exploits are a lot of fun. They are the reason I found this channel and I am glad I did.
@@jedrzejlipowski173 Fair point. I never got into Warband mp, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Warband combat has higher skill ceiling so it's better for competition. But I think Bannerlord has better game feel. Hits feel satisfying, the way horses move is smoother, etc.
Does this trade-exploit still work? I tried it as you did, exactly at Marunarth and didnt get as high numbers, we had exactly the same Social and Trade focus points.
I does still work, but the hardwood price in Marunath is kind of random. The more they pay the more xp you can gain. Also make sure you sell enough charcoal so that you can buy your hardwood back from the caravan for like 6 or 7 a piece.

Ay scholar little tip that you might know of. Instead of running vlandia without getting any lords try to get the dey arromanc. Once you’ve conquered about 2 cities they about always join you. They’re the biggest clan in vlandia and can be of real help. Although I would reccomend executing all the nobles before getting them do.
After this run I did a lot of research into how noble recruitment works. I'll try to use it in my future runs, but I have to be careful since vassal clans can be annoying at times

Nice speed run! I noticed the difficulty was set to "Freebooter" which is the easiest difficulty setting (i.e. reduced damage to you and ally troops significantly). Curious to see what if you ran it in the hardest difficulty mode, "Bannerlord" preset?
I'll do 'Bannerlord' difficulty run in the future. It'll make the early game fighting a bit tougher and lower movement speed sucks, but it shouldn't change much. I have some new strategies that make me think it's very possible to beat this run on harder difficulty. Thanks for watching!

The closest clan inherits all the fiefs, but the player can't inherit directly. So I make sure that my vassal is close to the center of the dying kingdom. When my vassal inherits the fiefs, they come to me because I'm their king.

>>on multiple fronts and it works pretty well... until the enemy actually took the city, but by then i had already gotten like 8-10 heads without
>>having to fight for any of them.
You should beat my time. Then I'll have to adopt your strats :)
Amazing video, love it.

Great run, learnt so many new things. A lot of the flashy streamers dont get into the detail of the game. Few things ive noted if anyone can clarify:
* you have your parties all the lower tier units.
Thanks!
18k views is amazing for me. It's like 3x my previous best performing video. I'll definitely try doing more highlight videos in the future. I'm kind of new to this YT thing myself, so I'll have to try out different strategies.

PERFECT BRUH YOU SAMSHED IT
Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but why do you execute lords? To weaken the enemy and not have them respawn? I usually avoid relation losses out of personal preference.
When all the lords of a kingdom are dead, their lands are given to a nearby kingdom/clan. In this run, I make sure everything is given to me. So I get all the fiefs by executing all enemy nobles.

wow, speedruns hypnotize me and this was awesome (edit: quick question why trade skill 300? as far as i remember it gives the ability to buy castles and cities but you did not use it did you? )
Thanks! I use trade 300 to guarantee I inherit the fallen kingdoms, e.g. at 2:58:08 3:48:14 4:04:15
Well done :D
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
wow this is intens! i really need to upgrade my pc... this game looks fun!
If you have an older pc, you could try out the prequel, Warband. It has worse combat and graphics, but it's more balanced and has more mechanics & stuff to do.
@@LesserScholar thanks for the tip! love the vids :)
LONG LIVE THE KING

YOU ARE CRAZYYYYY
Plz tell me how you gain the land after killing them off after I do it gets it to another faction

Nice speed run! I noticed the difficulty was set to "Freebooter" which is the easiest difficulty setting (i.e. reduced damage to you and ally troops significantly).
Curious to see what if you ran it in the hardest difficulty mode, "Bannerlord" preset?
I was saying the same too
I'll do 'Bannerlord' difficulty run in the future. It'll make the early game fighting a bit tougher and lower movement speed sucks, but it shouldn't change much. I have some new strategies that make me think it's very possible to beat this run on harder difficulty.

I don't think I got any rebels in this run. Sargot wasn't part of my empire when they rebelled.
