  • So many DMs about our breville barista touch so I thought Id share more here! We looked at a bunch of other coffee makers and ended up going with the breville for a few reasons: no plastic, an automatic milk frother, the frother automatically cleans itself, makes a variety of different drinks, not insanely difficult to get repaired, a touch screen and more. Other coffee makers with similar featured were thousands of dollars and this one when it’s on sale goes for $899. We were also able to buy it on amazon with amazon points for way less! It makes drinks just like the ones you buy at a coffee shop and we make multiple drinks a day so it is seriously paying for itself! If you are a coffee lover like us, it is 100% worth it. I seriously dream about my morning coffee 😍 hoping it goes back on sale again for Black Friday, I’ll make sure to post it for you if it does #brevillebaristatouch #coffeebar

      That extraction was way too fast most likely needed to grind finer and a little puck prep would have helped with the channeling. That shot would have tasted very sour but maybe she is a beginner so let's not be too harsh.

    Eek. Might want to work on extraction too lol. I realize I’m picky

    If that watery extraction makes coffee as good as the favorite coffee shop, which one are we talking about? Dunkin’ Donuts?

    this is the second video i have watched of someone using this machine. and say best coffee. looks terible. fast and watery. i have this in the impress and use it in manual mode sometimes semi auto. but have found fresh beans are the best. there are a couple of store brought ones i don't mind but after a few days it goes crap. fresh is best and the right grind.

    Oh god that shot was pretty much water, this is a beautiful machine and that was a crime

    Just some advice... for the love of god and money, please go and take some classes on how to extract coffee and how to steam milk correctly.
    and... If you dream of making that coffee you did, those dreams must be nightmares...lol (just jokes) but seriously, c'mon now!!!

    if you learned how to steam milk your drinks would be a lot better. it doesn't automatically steam milk that's not really a thing. you need to hold the pitcher while its steaming at a certain angle with the wand only going a little bit into the milk. there's a lot of tutorials on youtube lance hedrick and james hoffman's videos helped me a lot with milk steaming. ur latte looks more like a 90s cappuccino and i mean this in a bad way.

    Do you use single wall or double basket

    11g dose into a double basket is why your extraction is so watery. It’s meant to look like warm honey flowing.

    Hey just some little tips for a even better cup :) 1 try to dial in your coffee around 25-30 sec extraction, your shots looks a bit too fast. Aim for a 1:2 ratio to began with. 2 invest in a WDT tool, they are fairly cheap, you can even make them yourself; WDT significantly reduce channeling for a even extraction. If you really want to get fancy, invest in a grinder such as DF64 or niche zero, the grinder come with the espresso machine is ok, but not the best in terms of flavor

  • @Sonicxis4ever

    The extraction is too fast and watery. That’s the only downfall to automatic espresso machines; you can’t really dial in or fine tune the grind

    Why is it that no one who owns a Breville knows how to make a proper shot of espresso???

    I have had this machine since months ago as everyone knows it costs money and I haven’t made a decent cup of coffee since. It is sitting there and I would like to know how to prepare my coffee. My first time was very disappointed the taste was too sour or bitter I can’t even chose a adjective too describe the flavor. There is any body who can help me with that. 😢

    That milk foam is garbage. The opposite of microfoam

    • @seabass8154
      @seabass8154 ปีที่แล้ว

      The milk foam is probably fine, she just didn't properly swirl it and tap in before pouring. Doing that is such an important step. I've made foam from a French press workable for latte art with proper technique.
