bam never thought rachel is already at the top of the tower. he was told if u want to find her everything u seek is at the top. so info on where she is might be at the top. they literally gas lighting him just to climb. nothing in the show said he believes shes already at the top and nothing stated she was at the top. all bam assumed is shes already climbing because he entered after him. but the anime doesnt explain well the 2nd floor is called the floor of tests, a lot of regulars dont even get passed this point but all regulars come here. there is no quick way to make it to the top, out of thousands only a hand full make it to the top and become rankers. also its the legend of the tower at the top u get whatever u want, rachel wants to see the stars, so bam understands thats where she wants to go. thats also why the whole scene this episode has bam asking about the sky and if at night u can see stars cause he was thinking if u could rachel might just be on this floor. also yall missed the fact that people in the tower have never seen the real stars its just a legend. they think real stars dont exist
