Thank you i will have to check that out, lucky i found a work around this time, i never had a problem before as i only use manual focus, but thanks i will take a look at that.
Great tutorial, text looks sharp using the paint to fill. Did you engrave completely through the laminate surface down to the chipboard or just etch the laminate away ?
Thank you, yes i removed it back to the chipboard, 350 speed 30 power, the top layer is only about 1mm thick, before it is installed were going to clear coat it. thanks for watching
Hi it was acrylic paint and the excess just wiped off with water and elbow grease, i would recommend just trying your best just filling the areas you need so you dont have so much clean up, thanks

If you disconnect the wire to the autofocus you can raise the bed back up.

What kind of paint do/did you use? And then what did you use to wipe off the paint?
