True, and taking the fender flare off is the right way to do it. But a year later it's still tight with no gaps, so it really didn't make a difference in my case.
My rear fender just got caught pulling into parking and tore off the rivets broke and a circle one. How much somewhere to put it back on do you know? Im disabled so cant do it myself. Thanks its great of u to post these. Mine is 2003 and rusting lots on doors etc just want to drive till its done not put lot $ in. Can we drive w it off? Lol thnks for any advice 🇨🇦
You can drive without the fender flare, but it looks ugly and the edges may be rusty. It shouldn't cost much to reattach it, although nobody probably has those clips stocked. You might want to order the clips on Amazon and take them to a shop or handyman near you.
Finally someone says there are 2 different clips!
Because you didn't take the fender off, and some of the clips are missing, there might be other clips missing that you can't see.
