Got mine delivered today.. so happy you mentioned the boxing issues... I mentioned this to Sweetwater and they double boxed them for me. I can say the packaging had a lot protection in the box so maybe they listened. Three things I don't like.. The bag for the pole needs to be stretched in order to get the locking knob into the bag... Still no bag for the base plates and the Allen Wrench they send to screw in the top adapter does not even fit the screws.. its the wrong size.. They are beefy and the appear to be able to hold the weight!

I loved hearing the excitement in your voice as I can genuinely relate. I'm really stocked about this. It's gonna simplify so much and it's easy to expand the lighting systems and or reduce the lighting systems based on needs and etc. I feel like it's my best purchase all year! Great review! I just ordered two of them. Do the Gravity bags definitely fit the base plates, or has anyone found a suitable option? I see the Gravity bags hold two base plates each, which is awesome but I'm thinking I'd buy two bags and lighten the load. Can't wait to try these out!
I'll stick with my Hercules crank stand. I also modified the light bar by connecting(welded) 2 by the ends so 1 4ft bar sits on each side of the stand then welded 3 more together and attached on top of the 1st set. That's an 12ft bar 10in above an 8ft bar. Makes for an Amazing dance lighting show.
The stand that you’re using for your speaker in the combination with the light is all is well together what is the actual model number of that stand that you’re using for your speaker I thought I saw a JBL sticker. What is that exact model number of that pole you are using?
so after about 1 year of having these stands i have to give them 8 out of 10. only because the part below were the speaker sits is weird (round and flat on the sides) I like to clamp lights to my stand and that little part makes it impossible to clamp something to it. can anyone recommend some sub poles I can use with these that are tall?

Any adjusted screw on subwoofer pole will work.
For the Chauvet Flexstand, on the top of the poll, what thread is it? m10 or something else? Thank you!

What model is the adjustable speaker stand that you paired with the light stand?
I just got one of these and the backside of the sliding post is all scratched up why would it be doing that it’s long straight lines.

yes, but this one has the rachet, that allows for easier raising and lowering, which the gravity stand does not have
Unfortunately, Gravity stands got one-upped with this Chauvet unit. It's better.
