Thank you so much for the review Daryl. I'd never heard of them here in the UK, but after your review, ordered one for my new Bose S1 Pro and it's fantastic!
@@DJDarylBennett I’m not a DJ or musician, I just wanted a speaker for the garage so I bought a Bose S1 pro and the gravity stand works perfect for it 👍🏻 I hope you make some more fantastic videos soon. All he best from across the pond!😁
Hey mate. I'm looking on gravity LS 431 as well to use it for speaker stand but it says max capacity 20kg, my speaker is 25kg. I was thiking that the maximum capacity is propably at its max height (2.40m) so if i use it as a speaker stand i need it only at about 1.40m, do you think its gonna hold this extra 5kg? Did you ever use it with a 15 inch speaker?
Do you know the diameter on the touring version of the poles the non telescoping part? I'm trying to figure out if i can use these in place of the chauvet flex stands
@@DJDarylBennett they don't have that info there. I thought i would ask you since you have the stands and hoped you could tell me what you use on the non telescoping part.
@@DJGaryP and another thing. I like Darryl, but he's falling too far into the DJ Rabbit Hole like other vloggers on YT. Its just a gig. You arent a lighting designer. Bring your lights, yes and make it look decent. But at the end of the night, grandma, cousin sue and the bride's friends from work don't give two sh*ts if the lighs were on Gravity Stands or Ultimate/ADJ/Gator tripods. For me stay away from Amazon knock offs and get name brand tripods and call it done.
I'd think so, it can handle like 40lbs easily and those mini movers are under 10lbs easily. You can put sandbags easily on these as well for even more stability (though I don't think it's necessary)
They are soooo freakin heavy. Not worth the cleaner look compared to a speaker stand with skirt IMO. Although it does seem that the "appearance" of a DJ setup is becoming the most important thing ironically

Awesome! Congrats on your purchase. That's interesting because gravity stands are European! Way cheaper over there than here in the states

For ur chauvet sticks check out gravity new stand for speakers it’s even smaller I think less weight too
GSSPWBSET1
I saw those! I don't think they're available in the states yet from what I saw. Very cool though!
Great video! Where did you get your name tag on your table?
I made it in Photoshop and used a Cricut. There's services that will print one for you

I'd check on Gravity's website. You might be able to get new poles for the flex stands from a chauvet parts website.

Hey sir, what mount do you use for moving heads in gravity stands?
Video coming, but it depends on the mover
they are nice if they weights 10lbs, those stands are only meant for dj's in their 20's, older than that you will get a back ache
Seriously I just bought an instantly returned the flexstand way to heavy. Even though Tri pods take up space they are lightweight and easy to set up.

They come in a pair too.. right?
You have to check from where you buy it. Sometimes they come in a pack of two, most of the time it's a pack of one
Can the gravity stands handle 2 mini moving heads in a t bar? Without wobbling

@@DJDarylBennettWould you recommend the flat top mounts for movers? If so, what type? Thanks😊
@@antoniolockhart21 you can try these amzn.to/46X0ywU
I have the ProX one. Some movers have brackets that can be mounted, which mine do.

I can't argue that, they are pretty heavy and not the easiest to work with. Appearance matters, but can't be the main focus
Those are nice but for 250 a piece
They're not cheap but I don't regret the investment
@@DJDarylBennett I totally agree. They’re really one of my favorite investments over the last 2 years.
