2k?!?! That's insane. Nice stands, but they better float and put their self together for 2k. 😂 I would have never guessed that price. I was thinking around 600-800 total.
Great review and premium product! The market will dictate the success at this price point; I would be into them for probably $1k. I mean you can get a pair of 360/375 for less than $2k and the stands shouldn’t cost more than the lights imo.
Very tempted to pick these up. (Extremely hesitant to spend the money) but It’s the small form factor for me. I can throw a full setup in a compact vehicle for smaller events.
Thanks for the review! I bought them after seeing it. Have you been using them regularly? My first time, in couldn’t get the bottommost panel to attach very securely to the base plate using the screw provided. Any tips?
These are extremely well made (as are the Humpter booths) and convenient but the price point is WAY off. I had this convo with Gabe from ProX as they are the exclusive importer of these products from Germany (maybe Netherlands). Humpter won’t budge and obviously ProX has to turn a profit too 🤷🏻♂️. I think if we could get the price to $1,000/$1,200 for the pair it would be perfect and they would fly! The quality and compactness is there for sure.
I know 6 foot seems to be the standard for totems, but if anyone ever hung lights on a tripod or a low 6’ truss they would get widely criticized for blinding the audience. I think the rule should still apply, get the lights above everyone’s heads. I love the look of the totems, but the ease of use is overshadowing basic production principles. Just my two cents to any manufacturer. Thanks for the thorough review. Awesome as always! Anyone else have any thoughts on the height issue?
They do look really nice, although i find the setup time a bit to much, that are a lot of steps to go through. I'd rather pick a baseplate, a piece of truss and slap a light on top of that. only requires slamming a few pins in.
The Humpster Stands is your chance to do the hump (Oh, do me, baby) come on, uh Do the Humpter Hump, come on and do the Humpter Hump (Oh, oh, do me, baby) check me out y'all Do the Humpter Hump, just watch me do the Humpty Hump
Maybe add a rechargeable light to the front on the base plate to light up that stick. But I think a more traditional (wider) totem would make for a more preferred appearance for the customer. Just my opinion. Price for this product will be the deal breaker for me.
Thanks for the great review, and I can see shelling out that $ for the ideal stands, but from an ideal stand at that price I would at least expect better control of height - not just two fixed options. So as is - it's a no from me, but appreciate the video :)
It’s very flimsy & low quality in two aspects. The bottom center screw and the 4 circular knobs that help keep the stand level. Two of those knobs broke already. And the bottom center screw, I just had to create a makeshift system using homedepot gear
@@ClevelandTerry I don’t think it’s defective. The screw that connects the panel to the bottom plate is very hard to tighten with just my hands. My team has the same issue. That still was an easy $15 fix from Home Depot. But at our first time out at an event two of the 4 circular black knobs that help level the short legs that extent from the bottom plate just broke. I’m going to have to figure out how to replace those from Home Depot again or another hardware store. Overall though, there are no other stands like this which is surprising. So I’m glad to have learned about them from your video. But yeah, especially the 4 black knobs are very cheap material.
Psst
Hey Rockville
Yea you Rockville......
Get busy lol
😅😅😅 truth
Exactly these are going to have to do a whole lot more

My reaction exactly 😂
Made in Poland 😂
@djplaybizy
2K plus shipping, plus customs fee, plus tax....I can build the same thing for less.
$2k is the price of a top-of-the-line controller. F that!

I'm all about transporting a large audience experience into a compact car, these days.
Thanks for the review! I bought them after seeing it. Have you been using them regularly? My first time, in couldn’t get the bottommost panel to attach very securely to the base plate using the screw provided. Any tips?
Those stands look really nice and super compact. $2k ouch!
Thanks for making this video.

Agreed. Bring the price down and they will sell like crazy
I like that product it’s clean

If they’re on like a 4ft stage, it’s fine, but if I use trusses on the floor I aim at the ceiling, not faces.
I like them, and the way they break down and the cases... but like everyone else is about to say, I dont like them enough to spend $2,000 for a pair.
Exactly

It takes 1-2 minutes to put each one up. That’s too much?
I have these they are nice!
bruh we need to be making stands ~ we'd be RICH!
What is the length of the power cord on your mover? most lights come with a short PowerCon.
I buy 15ft + after market cables but extension cords work too. 😀

What they are made of appears to be a secret! Are they steel or aluminum?

They are nice. What is the cost of a truss complete with top plate and base plate? $900 for 1??
Give or take. Yes
I do appreciate the ease of use but at $2,000 for a pair of Totems hellzzz nooo my Rockvilles will be in use for a very long time.

Interesting, I haven’t experienced that. They are hand made so maybe you’re is defective?

What is the difference between these and the B Stock stands?
Usually unboxed floor pieces.
