It's just 100 students who study there, and only around 30 students who study computer science and competition for the collage is also high around 1 lakh ppl appear for ugee exam conducted by iiit Hyderabad and there is an interview for the students even after qualifying tho bantha yar 100 % placement

@@SanayaSrivastava-iz8fl i dont speak Hindi,even if you finish councelling and pay the fee, after verifying document they will refund the fee and cancel your seat. Even if you somehow get through it you can't sit for placements. Placements need 65/75 percent in boards . So it's a waste to study in vit of you can't sit for placements there

Kuch hype nhi hai. Bro its a shit college i will never ask anyone to come here. Fees is not worth it nd some professors are good but most of then r just living in their delulu worlds. I study in vit. They didnt give us holiday for ram mandir, it was right before 2nd term of internal papers ( yeah there r 2 internal exams nd 1 final). Students protested and celebrated the pran pratishtha by doing jai shree ram chanting in huge numbers like a rally nd guys wearing kurta were fined nd reprimanded ( tamilians dont wear kurta seemingly) their id card was taken away right before exam. Without id card no class can be attended nd no exam can be given. Such big punishment to profess our religion? Also our chancellor is a ex minister in tmc nd thus this stalin mentality so no one can say anything regarding religion its a political decision nd its disgusting. Other than that, i have been severely depressed (many other students are as well becz of the over burdening curriculum) i was suicidal nd my parents had to go through hell nd back becz they couldn't come to vellore for me. My house is far nd my parents are not very well. I didnt do anything in particular to harm myself but i was extremely down and couldn't figure out the energy to study or do my work. I dont like the crowd of vellore as well. As a female u wont be allowed to walk around alone becz of eve teasing and cat calling and instead of doing anything about it girls are locked inside campus with an out time of 2 hrs on weekdays nd 4 hrs on weekend which is not enough to explore 97% of vellore itself. Intime of girls is 8:30 back to hostel nd 7 back to campus. Anything later will invite fines nd call to parents. Gaurds are extremely rude nd will look at ur cloths and judge u. They r entitled to let u go out or keep u in campus if ur dress dont fit their mindset. If u r from north u will have a very very hard time to adjust and if u had freedom at home u better leave the idea to come here becz they wont even let you go back home without a call to ur parents, tickets emailed nd forget going out with ur friends becz uts not allowed ( untill u wanna lie nd go in an unsafe way).
All over 2 years of experience in vit has been extremely shit with small breezes of peace nd calmness but the fucking storm never ends.

We students from vit r not allowed to say anything negative about vit becz we signed student affidavit that enables vit to take legal action against any students for defamation. Thus its very important for me to say things in moderation as well. There is much more that i want to tell but i m bound. I hope students understand that this is the case with most of private colleges and not just vit. Every branch nd every named college do stuff to maintain name. Thats my part i told to protect students however looking at nta currently i m very ashamed to say that the youth the future of this nation is in grave danger nd no one gives a shit about it becz of elections.
