How to Sew a Kimono Jacket (using New Look 6217) / 기모노 자켓 만들기 [DIY sewing 미싱]

New Look 6217 is a quick and easy make. It will serve many purposes from a beach cover-up to a lounge gown. The hem is slightly shorter in the front which I think makes this jacket flowy and look very elegant. The sleeves are just the right length, being one piece continuing from the bodice, they are extremely easy to sew. This pattern also features basic but wonderful top, skirt, and pants that are all very beginner friendly. Cannot recommend it enough, especially to beginner sewists!

Fabric: Cotton, Cotton blends, Soft lightweight linen, Linen blends, Silk, Jacquard, Charmeuse, Crepe De Chine, Rayon, Matt Jersey, etc.

What type and what size needle did you use? I do not have a Serger.... thanks!
