Yes out of all the recent Russian ice skaters, Yulia was super special. Her flexibility and spins are still phenomenal and by far better than the other Russian skaters. Her Schindler's List program is by far the best Olympic program ever. She just had it all which made her a phenomenal skater and made all audiences around the world fall in love with her. Miss her dearly.
Julia had a bright future in ahead of her but the fact that her body was pushed past its limit crushed it. I'm glad that there is talk about raising the senior age limit. I'm glad that they are doing quads but there is only so much young bodies can take.
it's honestly sickening for everyone to be always mentioning this anime and the character similarities in every single video of yulia, or any other skater. like imagine if she sees these comments about people comparing her to a fictional character

А для души показательные выступления и ледовые шоу.

Так же и в ФК - красота - для показательных. А ради оценок одной красоты недостаточно, нужна и техника, и сложные прыжки. Странно, что кого-то это не устраивает и им хочется другого.
Her spins are incredible! I miss her skating but glad she put her mental health first, I really relate to her as I used to dance but quit because I had anorexia 💗
Her laybacks are perfect cambrés, I got so sad when she retired over those awful conditions. I hope she is doing better now. Or still trains kids, she seems like she would be a great teacher
I love when they skate with their hair down. Also, the peppy music. I'm not a fan of classical, but there are popular slow songs that I like too. Yulia is sooo incredibly flexible, almost a contortionist. It is so sad that they pressure these young girls to starve themselves. I miss her so much. I pray she is happy and that her eating disorder is a thing of the past. Hope to see her on ice again though, perhaps just in ice dance shows. My 2 favorites, Yulia and Elena Radionova, both retired because of the unnecessary pressures placed upon them.

It's always a risk using a prop in dance, whether on ice or stage, because it can all go wrong so easily. But this young lady did so with grace and style. KUDOS to her and her trainer/coach. 😉 *_R_*
