    Wow Tom, great HOW-TO video for anyone wanting to tackle this job on their own vehicle…such tight quarters though. I’m an old timer with ZERO patience, all I could think about while watching the video was how nice it would be to own one of those Elon Musk Flame Throwers. Lol.

      Thanks 👍 I have a Harbor Freight propane flame thrower!

    Tom, How will you clean out the coolant that went into the oil pan? I know coolant and bearings don't mix well...lol Thanks DVD:)

    • @frugalprepper
      @frugalprepper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No coolant went in the oil pan. I is a timing belt not a timing chain, so there is no opening/drain to the oil pan.

      @@frugalprepper O! ok...It just looked like it would / could drain into the oil....cool thanks DVD:)

    Good video Tom. Have you ever done a video on the video equipment you use to make your videos (camera(s), tripods, etc...?

    • @frugalprepper
      @frugalprepper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not yet! I just use my iphone SE and a couple of tripods though.

      @frugalprepper how do you like your iPhone SE? I'm thinking of getting my first iPhone and it seems to be an affordable entry level iPhone.

      In my main job I managed a few hundred company owned mobile devices. I thing the SE3 is great. I does 5G, and it has a real home button! I got the 256GB model. The iPhones have no way to upgrade the memory, so I got the 256GB model so if I want to start doing 4K one day, I will have enough space, but 64 would be plenty to do 1080p vids with. The front facing and rear facing cameras are great. They are also cheaper to get a battery replacement done it, because they go together like a iPhone 8.

    26:40 could you have used 1/4 inch drive to continue the rest with out locking your 3/8 in that spot? I’m watching you videos now as I take this crap hole apart😢😢😢

    • @frugalprepper
      @frugalprepper  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You Could. Th 1/4 inch drive won't work for breaking it loose but is should work after you break it loose.

      It's not that bad. There are WAY worse ones to do. I mean once you have done one on a PT Cruiser, they all seem easy!

    Ironic Henry made cars that were easy to work on and even supplied a tool kit. I had a 91 Dodge minivan with a 2.5;4hanger. When replacing the v-belts and and tensioner there were a mix of fractional and metric. The working room was nil. Took me pert near a day to do a job that on a full size Chevy V8 would have been 2-3 hours. I spoke fluent Gunny Sgt the whole *'$#@@__?##@ day long

    • @frugalprepper
      @frugalprepper  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah but Henry's cars were slow, had no AC, no radios, got worse fuel mileage, and they were a pain to drive in the rain.
