I had some weird nightmares of this show as a kid haha. I don’t even know why it’s not scary at all. I also forgot about it though, I’m glad I found it by searching ‘kids baseball movie’ into TH-cam lol
I used to watch this movie and many others on repeat constantly when I was a kid and I just remembered it. I used to remember every scene perfectly so this is very nostalgic to me
@@johnnygallagher5718 I agree. Did you know that the studio behind it also did several episodes of VeggieTales? (2004-2007) They also did the animation for "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie in 2008.
Lmao me too! I was doing my work in the office and all of a sudden out of nowhere i remembered this LOL. And I thought it was just a feeling but then i googled "Baseball Animated Movie" and I found this.
I randomly remembered this movie, I forgot the name of it so I searched up talking croissant, which I then remembered it was a talking bat. That would make more sense why the movie was about baseball. 😂
Note that this movie took place in 1932 because look what MLB and the world looked like in the '30s. Also note the 1932 World Series between the NY Yankees and Chicago Cubs. Also, this is based on the story by Howard Jonas according to the credits. In reality, about the 1932 World Series, the Yankees swept the Cubs winning their 4th title in history.
@@sequeltrilogysucks8827I'm a bit late to this but there was a scene where the baseball was attempting to save Darwin (I think that's the bats name) from the antagonist by pushing her and the bad guy was actually able to actually see this happen while dizzy but before he could get a better look Yankee saved them
Oh my word, I almost forgot this movie existed, and yet I watched it so much as a kid. I even memorized parts. Man, I need to rewatch this…

I’m surprised there aren’t any TH-cam videos being all like, “Everyone’s Hero, the childhood obsession I completely forgot about.”
one of my favorite movies as a kid. brings back so many memories
This and Gridiron Gang would make a great double feature.

Same here too bad it's easily forgotten
I remember this film! One of the last movies Cartoon Network used to play before they suddenly stopped for a few years.

I thought a talking baseball and a baseball bat are just things I made up in my head.
Same. When I was I used to play softball I would talk to mine a lot while in the dugout, though I think I did BECAUSE of this movie. Lol

I felt like this movie was a lost memory I remember it existed but never knew what it was, I’m glad I found it.
Am I the only person who thinks the characters look like they came out of meet the Robinsons.
But on a lower budget.
It does look like a similar style to meet the Robinsons
The animation kind of reminds me of The Ant Bully, with Zachery Tyler and Jake T. Austin, two actors from my childhood!
The last time I watched this, I was like 6 - 8 years old. Me and my family always loved this movie, I gotta see more old movies like these!
I’m here because I remembered parts of this movie😂😂I watched this so much when I was kid,I still am literally 17!! I’m gonna have to rewatch this
I never forgotten this movie one of my most underrated childhood movies this is up there with Meet The Robinsons

Yankee’s voiced by Jake T. Austin, the voice of Diego from Go, Diego, Go!

Only Yankee can hear Screwie talk, but not the others.

Even though it's an animated film, but I could say it's kinda like the similar analogy with Ice Cube and his bobble head in Are We There Yet

Is Rob Reiner still acting? He'd be a good replacement voice for Mr. Potato Head with Don Rickles gone.
Now that you mention it, yes. But, knowing Disney these days, they're probably gonna have an AI voice of Rickles instead.
