- This is the sewing pattern of the month and my tier 3 patrons get this pattern plus the previous 4 patterns which is basically 5 patterns for the price of the membership, but we also do polls, have full length tutorials and a sew-along is happening in July! It’s a fun time to join!

I am angry because yours was so much better than the movie version. Yours is much more like how the books made them seem, light and airy and flowy. The movies made them look like they were all training to be teachers or secretary's or something lol. I'd love a male version of the outfit as the movie robbed us of our dainty beaubatons boys, their school isn't gender specific though it is female dominated

I can’t say I pictured the uniform anything like the movie one, but also maybe not like this, I’ve always wondered exactly what the boys would wear and what they’d wear in the movie version too because it was so gender-based it was hard to imagine a male equivalent.
@@GunnarDeatherageYou did a beautiful job and it’s much more magical looking than the one in the movie. I can see a male version with the tweed coat, solid color blue pants with the tweed line down the side. Just a thought.

So instead of tearing people down, let's lift society up and make society better as a whole! As someone once said, weight is on the surface, but personality runs bone deep!

I love so much that you are so size inclusive with your patterns. Store bought patterns run so small. Similar to bridal sizing. Never makes a girl feel good about herself.

OMG, as someone who loves good steampunk, I *love* that idea. I'm thinking the skirt could be as is for minor girls, and adapting longer, possibly bustled pattern for a grown woman to be Victorian consistent. Student and teacher versions, if you prefer.

Now I Am Really Not Into HP Lore, But, For Me Personally, The Fabric For The Main Corset-Area Cloth Looks Little Thick, Like It Is Made Of Wool. Only If It Was Like Normally Thick (Like You Can Find In Casual Dresses) In Silk, Cotton, Or Etc., It Would Really Feel Better To Wear.

Can I just say as a person who wears a 30/32, I appreciate you. I love watching your videos and I love that you think of all the girls, especially the younger girls who are larger sized. It means a lot. I have been big all my life & I always felt left out of trends when I was younger due to things I liked never being available in my size. So think you for always making the larger sizes for your patterns available.

I'm not understanding the point of not wanting to mention her/the books. It's really obvious anyway as evidenced by the comments so it's still giving visibility to her stuff and if money is made off of the pattern then it's making money off a franchise that allows her to funnel resources into actively taking away people's rights... I'm wondering if it's because of copyright instead, or "I'm going to do whatever just please don't be mad at me" or alternatively having the best of intentions but not having them be correspondingly thought through fully. I'm trying to not assume anything and at the same time, based on the comment section I'm just kind of exhausted ar this point.

I’m glad you made this. A lot of people just want to erase the series because of the author, but once something is written it belongs to the fans. We can change it and make it better than its source without financing that source. This came out beautiful!
