Finally someone where you can see distinction to all these sheep aoty copy paste lists. This is what I look for in these top 50 lists. You can see that this list has personality and hidden gems love it 👍
@@toromomo8 if you like music theres gotta be a point where you discover something thats unique to your taste. Or at least some sort of pattern in your taste just copying the top 50 of aoty isn’t developing your own taste imo. Theres bound to be stuff you really like and dont like even in a list like the top 50.
@@ChuckNorris-sd5ng If I am honest, a lot of this songs are very popular in Latin America. Even some can be considered NPC by the most elitists from our region.
I kid you not … Al Stewart’s “Year Of The Cat” just unlocked a deep core memory buried within the deep depths of my brain in which I COMPLETELY forgot about! I forgot I had even known about this song. I’m like “sounds nice, let me take a quick listen on Spotify” as soon as I heard the first few piano notes start the song off… my jaw DROPPED! Thanks for that. Really. You got some good music taste, & even hooked me up with a few more songs to listen to on my own time. Sorry for the lengthy paragraph… if I could recommend an album for the time being, Electric Light Orchestra’s “Out of the Blue” album is VERY good in my opinion. I even own a vinyl record of it. 👍🏾
It surprised me to see Year of the Cat in the list, it's one of my dad's favorites and we listen to it quite often. I'll definitely try Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Car Seat Headrest, and now Out of the Blue is on the list. If I could also recommend some music, try shame - Snow Day (Noise Rock), that song changed my life!
@ YUP! My father would also play it. He usually did when driving upstate for our yearly summer-trips. I’ll definitely check out that song suggestion of yours. Thanks !!! Hopefully E.L.O’s “Out of the Blue” doesn’t disappoint you. If anything I think you’ll definitely hear a LITTLE BIT of The Beatles influence in certain songs - (or at least that’s how I’ve viewed it) … and with it being an album from the mid-70’s I think they were WAY ahead of their time. Especially sound-wise when it came to many songs of their’s feeling like what you would usually hear all throughout the 80’s era of music.
Year of the Cat is such a beautiful and under appreciated song that creates a unique vibe no other song can. That caught me off guard to see here, great video!!
listening to ceres and calypso for the first time was an insane experience that’s so real. you should check out the now now and never by “what is your name?” it’s similar to a lot of stuff on here :)
Minecraft Volument Beta is the greatest album I have ever heard, and Taswell is indeed one of the greatest songs of the, in my opinion greatest album of all time, really happy to see that people considere it the masterpice that it is
I just came across ceres and calypso just a week or two before coming across this video, such a pleasant surprise seeing it here, nice! "Fell in love" got me like desperado from Seinfeld (if you know you know). Personally, "Human sadness" by the voidz has got to be the greatest song ive ever listened to, or atleast, greatest song/video ratio. Would recommend of you dont already know.
