    From the ''big 3 Germans'', Audi is the one I commend for not ruining their design in time but improving it.

    90k for a car that will sell for less than 50k 3 years later is why the vast majority of these vehicles are leased and then purchased by someone who actually is buying the car closer to what it's actually worth,! I've owned Mercedes, BMW and Audi and they are all great vehicles initially, but man is the maintenance outrageous once the miles add up!

      That depreciation is factored into the lease prices, I assure you.

      Unfortunately true. I've owned Audi/BMW (and everything else Japanese) vehicles, since the late 80s (still do). But as long as they continue to bring a smile and enjoyment to your driving pleasure, Why not. My current DD is a B9 S4.

    I love these things. I bought a new B9 S5 back in 2018 and it just passed 112k miles. Drove it cross country from Los Angeles a few times already. Definitely great cars.

      @@carramrod8232 I had to replace the fuel tank at 90k and a coolant tank at 70k. I did some preventive maintenance like spark plugs and oil breather hose around 60k. Every 50k I do a transmission flush. 5k for oil changes.

    That's such a good looking car. It will still be good looking in a few years, unlike their competition. I would complain about the price, except for everything is expensive these days. You can even find trucks that cost more.

    In 3-5 years when Audi randomly turns off many of the selling points of the tech, the owners will be as pissed as me in my 18’ RS3.

    So since 2008 Audi has not figured out a way to increase horsepower in an RS5...the 2008 S5 had 354hp...that is 16 years with zero progression. WOW.

      Torque has increased by more than 25% from the V8 RS5 to the Twin-Turbo V6. This engine seems to pull hard early and never let up.

      @5150sixfortysevenF Guess we can ignore that the new car is over half a second quicker to 60 and the quarter mile. Sound may not be as nice, but the new car is better in every other metric.

    • @tilmonr
      @tilmonr 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nigels6786 it's turbocharged. If they can't get 50 hp out of that when other car makers with less or slightly more displacement can get 500+, then audi should gett out of the gane. Hell, their 2.5 5 cylinder can easily make 500+ hp. Are you stating they didn't put strong enough internals in the engine? I have the V-8 RS5, I love it. But the same HP number is ridiculous when the competitors are making faster vehicles.
