As an exterminator, you should be using fast cap, but if you have ants, you should use Taurus and if you have fleas and ticks, you can use tecko pro and temprid
Fast cap is a much stronger chemical it will take care of scorpions spiders and roaches. Bifen does more general pest, the smaller bugs. Fast cap will kill everything.
Fast cap is a pyrethroid like bifenthrin but also has a synergist. Stops the bugs immune response from acting which is why it's so affective against spiders and scorpions because they are naturally more resilient to toxins unlike most bugs. Now if it's cockroaches or bed bugs I would actually go with a neonicitinoid like alpine wsg because it is a different family of pesticides and those particular bugs aren't very used to it and it acts like a virus and is undetectable to them which for interior invaders is what you want bifen and other pyrethroids will make them scatter into corners you can't reach with the pesticide. Diatomaceous earth is good too but don't use it out in the open I like to use it in wall voids behind electrical junction/switch boxes or crawl spaces and unused attics. Remember these chemicals are toxins just mixed to levels that safe to be used around humans safely but still kill bugs just read your labels and follow best practices and instructions. Label is law literally.
I have been using Taurus for about 7 years. No pests so far. 3 feet out and 2 feet up. Around every window and doorway. I spray every 6 months. Might try FastCap though. Thanks for the 411
Thats a huge band for using Taurus. But who follows label nowdays anyway💁♂️😆
Yes, that stuff really does work!💯
Talstar p, and finish line are also bifenthrin. But be careful, application in direct sunlight greatly degraded the residual effect
How to do keep the rock around your home free of debri that settles and can become a perfect harboring ground for pests? Do you find that pests live under the rocks and in between even with them being free of debris?
Nobody is going to mention that he just shot that halfway up the wide of his house and above a birds nest? Yeah. OK.
So?
There’s a lot of great products. For me I have found suspend polyzone to be effective for me. I do the entire perimeter eom as well as pre summer I’ll power spray my wooden fence around my backyard to prevent spiders on the posts. But it takes care of all my Ohio pests.
Good product for general use broad label spectrum
What do you use for the grass and weed. How do you space it out. Thanks.
I think they dont sell it in california.
Some good product in ca?
Do bugs die instantly?
No get the grains not the fluid. It will stain house in some climates. I use termadore outside for foundation treatment and spread grains around house
Never seen liquid bifethrin stain before but there is a first for everything I suppose. Some stuff I use like maxforce I have noticed can stain surfaces but never seen it with demand, bifen, temprid or suspend.
Only stains if it is over concentrated.
I can obviously tell you've never read the label considering you couldn't even spell the product name right.
Even as an exterminator, we’re not even supposed to spray 4 feet up we only do 1 foot out and 1 foot up at least in California
California is worthless. It's 3 feet up and 3 feet out everywhere else
How much do you charge for an average 3 bedroom home? Do you spray inside as well? Do you treat german cockroaches?
As a pro that is a high rate can apply @ 1/2 oz per gallon and get really good results and will go farther, probably 7% bifintherine active ingredient I'm guessing
Will it kill your Pollinators?
@@pepe1o8 yes
Ya I haven't seen a label on any bifethrin product that allows for more than 1oz of concentrate per gallon so 1.5 is little much. Label is law but people will be people and do what they want. Then they wonder why pesticides build up in the environment. 🤦
I just purchased some and they told me to make it Hot by adding 4 1/2 to 2 Gals 😬
I wouldn’t spray 4 feet up the house isn’t necessary
So cute
Holy shit you spray that way ..epa gonna getcha
If you do pest conrol correctly youll never spray chemicals inside your home, if youre really good youll never spray your house, just the surrounding area.
Not true
@@michaelmerck7576 well, depends where you live but I've been in pest control 35 years
You can't be 100% but you can get up there without chemicals.
Lies
@@gary1558 then why did houses back in the day have documented NATURAL pest control?
Pests can enter the home in many different ways, they can be brought in unknowingly in boxes, luggage, or even on your clothes. So in such cases it may be necessary to treat inside.
Is it safe to use if you have a dog?
Yes it is, usually takes about 30 to an hour to dry depending on the weather
If u use biafen it and permethrin sfr at 1 oz /gal u got a definate 90 day general insecticide with a heavy repellent but dont use if u have ants or theyll be trapped in there for 90 days ish
Permethrin causes cats to have seizures
Oregano +. Water.~ Deterent for micro organisms /.any type of.pests / interacts with any & all organisms but harmeless to humans unless in massive amounts ~ Wipe down counters with cloth saturated with 'oregano tea'. {boil water 1 gal / ½ gal /.1 ~ 2 tblsp.oregano ~ back to the garden ~
And I will now be firing my pest control company
😂
That stuff going up turn ugly yellow and three or four years
Good job blatantly lying saying “they changed the name” they didn’t change the name you just advertised a completely different company’s version of bifenthrin 7.9%
I suspect you own, co own or get a kickback from this misinformation
Does it kill mice? /s
No
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Termites???🤞🤞
How carcinogenic is it?
Probably more of a neurotoxin.
@@ShowMeWhatINeedToKnowand at that not very much of a neurotoxin for people sense the pesticidal chemical in bifethrin only works on insects physiology. I remember and still sometimes use organophosphates and carbamates which do act on human as well as insects and have to be used sparingly for that reason also more ppe is required to be used when working with those chemicals. Hell if you want to really work with some crazy stuff I got this gopher killer that's made from a dervitave of cyanide. Ya I'm probably gonna get cancer in 40 years but at 30 years old who isn't going to have cancer by then.
the application method was silly, that's not going to affect anything
I mean he missed his eaves windows and doors and honestly you can do your whole lawn if you want but it's kind of up to you. Just make sure you don't spray in places you shouldn't spray that is more key in general pest. There is a line between too little and not being affective and too much and getting pesticide in places it shouldn't be. This video wasn't a bad example (except for the mixing rate which was a little over what the label allows) he just missed a few spots that I would have gotten.
Yeah it will work to a degree. He didn't do the inside which hopefully he also does and uses temprid or something that isn't bifenthrin. Not great for indoor pets
Ortho Home Defense works fine for me.
Garbage
Eating 300 calories a day works fine you’ll still live but you’ll be 1/10 as efficient as someone that eats 2,500 calories per day
Dude has no clue what he’s talking about lol
I mean he's a builder not an exteinator but the video isn't as bad as some I've seen.
He said “they changed the name”
Bro theres 20 different manufacturers of Bifenthrin 7.9% FMC, Ensystex, Amvac, CS, the list goes on
Is this pet friendly?
Just Use Alcohol
