just my opinion, but part of the beauty of the balatro song is that it's a perfect backing track. a jazzier / more 'interesting' version is great for a single listen, but to be looped especially over the course of 1.5h, or more like 4 across all 3 videos, to be honest, i find it to be pretty grating. just a vote to return to the normal track in the future, nothing against the remix itself.

It was a fun experiment, but I'll be bringing back the original background track. Unfortunately, we can't change any of the videos/content already recorded.

Love Dom Palombi's cover, really nice vibe, but I gotta say it's either a tad too loud or I've just been too used to using your videos to fall asleep to have the music change all of a sudden.
32:42 if someone told me Doc found a way to play a seed as unseeded, I would believe it. That's way too close for comfort, I'd put the lucky in front for the chad 100% of the time considering the last three hands just barely totaled 10k.

I think an 'Underworld' Joker would be interesting. My idea would be that Jokers trigger before cards are scored making it so that a Joker like the Pants can synergize better with Tribulet
getting a blind double full house on the fish has to be one of the funniest bouts of luck I've seen in one of your videos. it's only topped by things like "we'll see brainstorm again later" and immediately rerolling into brainstorm (iirc)

curious why going back in time is the move - is it because the pants already scale too much and we don't expect to be using all our hands anyway? initially i was thinking less hands means smaller pants in the long run, but i'm not really sure how all the math works out once we get to endless

Community challenge idea: iron man. All jokers are perishable negative eternal, so you can only use each one once. Maybe ban planets and/or tarot?

At the end of the video on the "you won" screen the seed would be highlighted in bright red if it was seeded
Community member Djynasty created a mod (github.com/OceanRamen/Brainstorm) which automatically restarts the game until the first Ante contains a Soul (via Mega Arcana Pack), the same thing a human would do manually. However, the Brainstorm mod skips all the animations and greatly reduces the "reroll time." For the purposes of "official" world records, this is considered an unfair advantage (rightfully so, in my opinion).
You can tell if a run is seeded any time the settings menu is opened. If seeded, the seed will show at the top of the menu. Alternatively, the seed will be highlighted red at the "You Win!" screen. There are, unfortunately, ways to cheat this. My videos are aimed primarily at entertainment and secondarily at education (demonstrating these different runs to inspire others to try). No hard feelings toward anyone suspecting "foul play."

I wanted to know because I know others will be inspired to do the same and may ruin the integrity of the run by pathing it without the viewers knowledge. Either way it’s great knowing you didn’t sink hours restarting the first blind to get triboulet
Is it correct to take Hieroglyph for this attempted record? Hieroglyph lets you scale more quickly in the beginning, and likely survive at least one ante longer in the end, in exchange for losing a whole hand. If the goal is to make 300 hands, then losing one hand seems very painful. Though I guess maybe normal hands don't matter and the record will inevitably require multiple copies of Burglar.
I doubt it, only because its likely to score too much in early antes, which could instantly lose you a hand. Past that, beyond about ante 6-7, bonus cards become much less impactful, to the point of being meaningless in the end game. So I think he's correct to ignore Hieroglyph.

When we reach 15 hands per round, three rounds is worth 45 hands. The first Voucher costs Hands, but the second Voucher is free, relatively. So that's +90 hands, which is worth it if you play less than 90 rounds. Not taking into account the fact that reducing the scoring requirements shaves hands, too. I think in the end, taking Hiero is not worth it, but it's way closer than you might realize.
