Most people may assume the jimbos have science defying elastic to allow pants to grow so large, really it’s just a reapplication of their well known clown car tech
Absolutely phenomenal how a change in background music massively changes the watchability of a video. I watch all your vids start to finish regardless but I really didn't realize how much a change in music helps
Welllll, some folks have been commenting the opposite. The newer "more exciting" music draws attention to itself, and when it loops, it can grow tiresome as anything else. I don't have great perspective on this because my experience while playing/recording is wildly different from everyone else watching. We're working on getting even more variety.
@@drspectred I commented last time about the music, I honestly don't mind it , it might feel a little loud sometimes, but maybe it's because I'm not used to it, or cause it's so groovy I vibe to it instead of it being background, like the original OST. Don't take my previous comment as criticism, more like my prespective as a viewer. Variety is always nice.
So I think the remixed music is really cool. But at the same time. I don't like it? I know that sounds weird. But I think it's because it's not different ENOUGH. Kind of like the uncanny valley effect
Wouldn't it make sense to hold onto the Aces, jacks, 5's and 2's when you have so many extra hands after the second blueprint? Or does the extra dollar or three each round, from the hands saved, make more of a difference in extending the run for a bigger pants ultimately?
What you don't want to happen is draw A K Q Q J 8 6 5 2, in which case a Hand is wasted anyway. You're not guaranteed to draw Two Pairs in every hand, so throwing away extra Aces, Jacks, etc maximizes the chances of drawing Pairs. If you have one Ace in hand and only one in the deck, you're effectively playing with -1 Hand Size until you find that Ace. 50% chance the Ace is in the top half of your deck vs the bottom half.
You can even see this demonstrated at 59:00, when the prof decides to hold on to cards because he has enough hands, but ends up needing to waste a bunch of hands anyway playing one card at a time before getting two pair.
@@drspectred Ah yes, that's basically what I was trying to say. There's definitely a risk of it, in which case if you play just a single high card J for example, you end up drawing the same hand as you would if you had played it with the two pair but with one less hand remaining. So since you have so many extra hands after the second blueprint, you're still going through the whole deck, and not risking not having your final hand when you need it, the decision basically becomes "do I take the risk of losing 1 extra hand (and therefore $1) for the chance of an additional two pair?" That's basically what I was trying to equate. I'm guessing then that the $1-2 saved per round from not risking having to waste those discard hands using high card, end up adding up to being more valuable for finding the jokers/scoring for additional rounds, that ultimately make the pants bigger than if you tried to maximize each round with the chance of drawing an extra pair or two?
probably for the probability. if you only have two of a certain card it’s not worth holding the first one when the second has a chance to be in the bottom of your deck

I'm sorry the comedic timing of 1:42 was incredible
You can’t call your shots if you don’t call your shots
2:00 Ok I know you can’t call your shots if you don’t call your shots, but this is ridiculous.
Thank you for the wake-up call at 20:13

He often gets away with it
Your handling of the serpent at the end there was pretty slick, wouldn't think of using the cards you have odd amounts of for discards!
he left ricky on read!
Balatro - MC Hammer edition.
Love your vids but not gonna lie the sound track is a little annoying, its can get very loud and kinda jarring
