Solo nez definitely isn't easy by any means, and it's still something to be proud of completing. Agreed, you could probably get a few BnS shots off after the lucky pants buff expires if you time things perfectly. But you would lose almost all heavy ammo if you swapped back to an eager sword for running and an eager sword makes running a fair bit safer. If you're willing to be a bit risky, going for some shots is definitely not a bad idea.
Gratz on the run, but i do have one question, why when i loadout swap to a Malfeasance, the mag is always empty, but in your video and everyone else, they Malfeasance is full ammo ?
Thanks! If you're swapping from an empty special weapon to a primary weapon, the primary weapon will have nothing in the mag when you swap. If you swap from a special weapon with ammo or a primary weapon to a primary weapon, the new primary weapon will be loaded with bullets in the mag.
Whats the sword that you use to move around so quickly with? I havent played the game in years(I stopped in Shadowkeep) and recently came back to see everyone using that sword to move around quickly, or can any sword do that?
The perk that allows you to go very fast using a sword is called eager edge and the sword that I used here is called the other half which is the sword that can drop from playing dares of eternity (it can randomly roll with the perk eager edge and can be crafted). Eager edge essentially states that whenever you first draw the sword, it gains increased lunge range (with a short cooldown between activations). The technique that allows you to go super fast with this sword is as follows: draw the sword to activate eager edge, jump, light attack (swing the sword), and then swap weapons. If you swap your weapon after light attacking, you conserve momentum from the attack and can start moving around very quickly.
A special ammo finder mod on helmet and probably scav mods on legs for the weapons elements so it gets more per brick probs double special ammo finder mods, also poison kills on things or deaths from abilities as he swaps to sword. So heavy is out when those things die more likely to drop special

Builds should be towards the end of the video! I realized I don't have DIM loadouts up for this yet, I'll see if I can quickly create all of them for this and put links for them in the description when I'm at my PC next.
If you join the D2Checkpoint discord server, there's a channel called "checkpoints." If you click on that, you get a list of join codes which correspond to checkpoints to a lot of raid/dungeon bosses. Usually nezarec is there. Just type /join followed by the join code into the chat when in the game, and you'll join a checkpoint bot at nezarec. From that point, just wipe, respawn, and leave to grab the checkpoint. If my explanation was confusing, the discord server has an explanation on how to use it. It's a great way for solo players to access raid boss checkpoints.
I gotta ask how does one do the mechanics solo, is it guessing trough trial and error and any dark and light seed can be done at any order, or is a specific pattern and if done wrong will just kill you?
After activating a dark or light node you'll be able to see the next dark or light node in the sequence that you need to hit (a small sphere will appear on the node you need to hit). You can see that whenever I hit a node and go back to grab either field of light or flux of darkness, the next node of the same polarity I go for will always have this small sphere. There's not really any guessing involved as you're able to get all the information you need solo (which refuge you need to create is signified by which color nez glows after you snipe his weak spots and the next node in the sequence for both light and dark is always plainly visible). The only instances where you can fail based on mechanics during running are if you create the wrong refuge, are too slow to create any refuge, or are too slow to finish both sequences before time expires.
The sequences aren't the exact same each time, but there is somewhat of a pattern you can follow: the nodes generally progress from the side where you spawn to the side where nez spawns. The first node on each side must be the one closest to the first field of light / flux of darkness. After the first node that you hit on a side, notice that there are only two options for the next node, the two nodes closest to spawn. The next node must be ONE of those two options and the node after that must be the other of the two, so you only need to look at two nodes closest to spawn after hitting the first one to know the sequence of the next two nodes. The pattern works in a similar fashion for the next two nodes: the next node in the sequence must be one of the next two nodes closest to spawn and the node after that must be the other of the two nodes that were closest to spawn. The final node on each side must be the one on top of the flower-root-thing by where nez spawns. So at most, there are only ever two options you need to check to see which node you need to go next, and for the first and final nodes on a side, there is only one possible node position. Sorry for the confusing explanation, but I hope this at least slightly helped.
