    You can use a call out to put all the links.... it looks great and more like a real navigation bar atleast for me.

  • @jurrie_
    @jurrie_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    this is a good way of making pages quickly accessible to sections.
    I have create different dashboards for my activities (which are all database driven, so I can create many links) for my desktop (with a super wide monitor, have multiple kanbans in one view etc) ipad - with a different dashboard, making use of the screen estate for my ipad - and a dashboard on my phone. I then use these as starting pages when using Notion from one of these.

    Ooooohhh i needed that!!! Using prod apps on my phone is so essencial now but the way Calender and Note apps worked made it basically unusable. Putting things wasn't the big problem, it was navegating and editing that was a pain in the arse.
    I was managing my systems more than they were helping me and having to remember what they should recall me. It was like doing your assistant's job.

    • @music2012pink
      @music2012pink 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I totally relate to feeling like your just like an assistant for your system instead of the other way around, and I've used this system for years. I first discovered it on Microsoft word while I was doing my degree and nobody seemed to know about so they were happy when I pointed it out. Couldn't live without it. You can even have 'toggle heading' so you can collapse the info down to just the title while still being able to have your very own contents page (just like in Word)

It doesn't happen with the browser. It was preventing me from using Notion on my phone cause when I write down something, I expect it to remain there, that's why I typed it there. ^^'

    Sure it's a calming notion, perpetual in motion
    But I don't need the comfort of any lies
    For I have seen the ending and there is no ascending
    Rise
    Oh, back when I was younger, was told by other youngsters
    That my end will be torture beneath the earth
    'Cause I don't see what they see, when death is staring at me
    I see a window, a limit, to live it, or not at all
    If you could pull the lever to carry on forever
    Would your life even matter anymore?
    Sure it's a calming notion, perpetual in motion
    But it's not what you signed up for
    I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
    But there's this momentary beam of light
    You don't have to wait those salty decades
    To get through the gate, it's all in front of your face
    I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
    I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
    But there's this momentary beam of light
    I could cross the ocean in a fit of devotion
    For every shining second, this fragile body beckons
    You think you're owed it better believing ancient letters
    Sure it's a calming notion, but it's a lie...
