@@paulstanley8088 Find one of your pages that has a few H1, H2, and/or H3 headers. You should see short lines on the right side of the page near the top. Hover over them and you'll see all of your headers. It works the same as if you created a Table of Contents.
@@paulstanley8088 Maybe it's being rolled out still. Basically there are a few horizontal lines at the top right corner of a page; each of those lines represents a heading (so you need to have headings in your document for it to work), and moving over those lines let you chose the part of the document to scroll to.
What would also be fantastic is being able to add sub favorites to primary favorites. Maybe only limit five to each to help people ‘discipline’ their priorities.
The pin tab feature does not appear to have been implemented in the Mac version 3.9.1. I just checked (6.5.24) and I have the latest version. Also, I've started using Motion for task management. I know you have a LOT of energy expended on creating Notion task management, but I wonder if you have checked Motion out, and what you think.
Probably not a native one, but you can build one with databases! If you combine a formula, database button, status, and text property, you can create a property that will "reveal" an answer once you click the button.
Does anyone ever get concerned about Notion backing up our content correctly, not sure if Thomas has ever talked about this but would love to know his thoughts on it.
Great video as always. I have a Q though: Is having multiple tabs open extremely RAM consuming? because If I go to my Activity Monitor, it's telling me that Notion is consuming a hell of a lot of RAM, so I think It could be related to the tabs...
I have noticed that I'm getting notifications that I do NOT want to get and when I edit my notifications, it doesn't seem to save. Have you noticed that? Do you know how to edit your notifications in the inbox?
i don't get why they need tabs - what's the difference from going to the left and clicking once or going to a UP to a tab and clicking?? Seems like they wasted time on that instead something of actual use.
The import PDf feature isn't "quirky." It's poorly designed. Having an inline command create a new page is just bad. I wish Notion's designers actually used the product.
I think it might be either an oversight or something they intend to fast-follow with a fix. The import option is also within the actual Import tab in Settings, so that may have been the original intended place for it.
I enjoy Notion but most of these are basic UI elements they should have had years ago. This company has found the most easy to please user base imaginable. It’s quite impressive to see.
Helpful to know. Surprised you didn't cover the document outline on the right hand side scroll.
That's my favorite update!
Can you explain this right hand side scroll document outline update? I'm using Mac version 3.9.1 and I'm not seeing anything like that.

Man, I love this guy. ❤.. from your humor to your teachings. Im truly grateful to have stumbled upon your youtube! Thank you for your thoroughness.
Notion just keeps getting better, I literally created a whole game using Notion only and it honestly has helped my productivity so far!
How does your game work? I'm intrigued. Is it one of those gamification to your productivity and task management templates?
@@enochleffingwell6624 I have it on my channel, hopefully that doesn't count as self-promotion 🙏
I desperately need offline access!
Is Thomas affiliated in some way with Notion? If not, i wonder why. This is such good content that many companies would be willing to pay for.
He gets affiliate revenue from them. Last I checked he gets half of the revenue from paid signups for the first year.
Is there a Notion community to ask how-to questions? I am really stuck on a small technicality
Love Notion. I would love to be able to hand write in each page, but love all the other updates.
What would also be fantastic is being able to add sub favorites to primary favorites. Maybe only limit five to each to help people ‘discipline’ their priorities.
Great stuff as always - THANKS Thomas! 👍🏻👊🏻
Quick question: is there a way to see all your pages in Notion in a list? or in the back end somehow? I want to clean things up!
Thanks for another good video. I wonder if any of the features have made it to the smart phone apps?
I would love that function of database items in the pane, have the ability to make Notion look more like a traditional note taking app like Evernote
Absolute rockstar as usual! Thomas, you are a legend mate!!
The ice Yoda thing was funny 😂
Excellent content as always!
you mention the ability to search in pdfs thanks to Notion AI. Does it work if you just add a mention of a link to a pdf stored in GDrive?

I believe the search component, accessible via cmd+k, is going to gradually kill the left sidebar
Thank you Thomas for this video, really helpful 👍🏼... See you🙂
Is Notion ever getting a flashcard feature like Remnote ?

That 2 Database 2 Furious is lit AF LMAO

Same. Stupid notifications of status changes that I can't seem to turn off..
Rock that bench press goal of 315lb yo! 💪🏻💥
Tom just drop a Notion video!!!! Ive gotta watch it so I can keep on living my life
Nothing is more urgent than native recurring tasks. 😂 Such a dream to me!
Excellent vocal commentary. I appreciate your updates
Notion should pay you millions lol😂 I always get my notion tricks from you
Kinda wanna know how i can use your expense tracker from a while ago and change it to weekly.
How do I get thr /import pdf feature? It doesn't show up when I do it.
Do i have to sign up for the beta features somewhere?
Now if only you could apply filters to the automations-like we can with databases.
unexpected but welcome tom cardy sighting!
The Tom Cardy photo took me off guard.
Are the Pinned tabs only on the downloadable app? Not seeing a pin option on the web version?
Not seeing this on the desktop app either. Would love this tbh
I don't see it on the web version either, and I was seeing the new sidebar pane but now it is gone.
i don't get why they need tabs - what's the difference from going to the left and clicking once or going to a UP to a tab and clicking?? Seems like they wasted time on that instead something of actual use.
likely as a functional navigation for those who don't want to be distracted with the sidebar nav. i think it's an excellent feature.
I have pages inside pages inside pages so is useful for me to pin the page im working on
It's actually kinda crazy that Thomas was making LLaMa content way before it was cool
You are just great
I can finally have a little more control over all my Tom Cardy face collages!
I didn't know that "Horizontally intrusive" was a term I needed in my dictionary, but here we are
My ex wife was horizontally intrusive
Love how many videos that use Lupus Nocte backing tracks these days, his music is so good 👍🏻

@@ThomasFrankExplains Thanks for the reply! It could at least add a link to the page you invoke it from....
