- This is episode 10 of our roadtrip, 9 countries in 9 days, during which my partner Daniela and I drive my Land Cruiser Prado across Europe, from Sweden down to Portugal. At last! This is end of our journey! The final episode of 9C9D season 1, is here.
During today's episode we drive from Ponferrada in Spain, via the town of Chaves, into Portugal. We put the Land Cruiser Prado through its paces, speeding down the Autovia and further into Portugal down the IP3 road. We talk about why dashcams are illegal in Portugal, what the coffee tastes like in Villa Real, and finally, unveil what the distance is that we covered during our entire drive down. Can you guess? It was amazing to reunite with family after having missed them for many months, and also to realize that we got there safely. I hope you enjoy the video.
