Even if the Gambit cameo was meant for people following casting news, CT definitely proved he was a good choice for Gambit if that movie had ever happened.
You have got to be kidding me... Have you seen the real Gambit? And the absolute joke that he is in this movie by comparison? He was literally cast as a self aware joke about being a reject for being a terrible casting choice.. But apparently some people clearly missed the joke and took it seriously.. sigh.
@@Aceinine The only comic relief was the talking nearly incoherently part. Given this is an entire movie of comic relief characters, that's pretty tame. He has the costume designed right. @@XaadeTheBlade Disagree he looked the part. Gambit is a lithe master thief. Channing Tatum is not. He did fine in the role, but he was super far from the perfect cast that some claim.
The accurate suit, heavy cajun accent, and the one or two action scenes he had were amazing. If Gambit is ever going to come back after this film I see no reason that Channing Tatum shouldn't reprise his role. He made a good first impression to me. All we need now is a good Rogue to pair him up with and the movie writes itself.

If their bodies were facing each other, you know, like kissing, that would've helped and made sense logically
Not the current was the problem, it was the amount of anti-matter exposure. And to be honest, they still should have fried DP with the anti-matter and make him meet his lady death. Would have been a good ending to the trilogy.
And to think, all they would have had to do was rupture the antimatter fuel line and let it react with all the normal matter *right outside the fuel line* . Yeesh...
@@Traumglanz Nah, I'm positive Disney already has plans for DP in the MCU. The know exactly which actors will bring in the money money money. They'll milk Ryan and Hugh until they run dry.
4:16 I was totally pumped when I saw Channing Tatum gambit. It was nice to not have blade, Johnny storm, and gambit spoiled.

Great cameo from that guy that almost got cast as the Producer Guy for that Pitch Meeting thing.
They nailed me with the Channing Tatum cameo. Also, his accent was perfect.
"I have SO MANY questions" "Hey shut up about all of them, it's just a reason for Deadpool to go find a Wolverine" LOFL!!
It has been a question in my mind too. Anchor beings sounds like a concept He Who Remains and the old TVA might have planted in every universe so that the branches die off by themselves without them having to do anything. So what about the sacred timeline? Since it is the one that's supposed to be there forever, does it not have an anchor being at all?
@@maverickmurphyWhat if the one above all is the anchor being for the sacred timeline
That little roast to Star Wars was slick, Ryan. Well played.

Even if the Gambit cameo was meant for people following casting news, CT definitely proved he was a good choice for Gambit if that movie had ever happened.
You have got to be kidding me... Have you seen the real Gambit? And the absolute joke that he is in this movie by comparison?
He was so bad that I was convinced he was a comic relief character, and then the movie confirmed it. He was literally cast as a self aware joke about being a reject for being a terrible casting choice..
But apparently some people clearly missed the joke and took it seriously.. sigh.

The only comic relief was the talking nearly incoherently part. Given this is an entire movie of comic relief characters, that's pretty tame.
He has the costume designed right. He looks the part. What are you on about?
They tone down the accent and it works.
It's miles better than what they did with gambler wonka Gambit.
I like to think that the reason Wolverine was in the trunk of the car wasn't because X-23 talked him into joining them but because he just got super drunk and that's where he passed out

There are multiple producer guys?
The Ryanverse lore thickens!
I’m convinced he was just part of the producerguy multiverse
It's Ryan Reynolds in the Ryanverse ?
Actually, the fact that there are multiple producer guys has been hinted at before. In the Mandalorian Season 3 pitch meeting, the intern who gets Producer Guy's coffee meets another intern, and when the first intern explains that he's getting "his" producer guy some coffee (the first hint that there's more than one), the other intern says, "Same here." This implies there is another producer guy who is also having an intern get him coffee.
