Nice review, definitely an improvement over the original quality wise. When I look at my original toon versions though, I think they're painted well, and they're the representation of the characters that I'm familiar with. I am satisfied with what I have, but I do think these versions look better and pop more with the new accents. X-transbots gonna X-transbots with recolors within 6 months of the original release, lol.
These are not just the toy versions, they're also the comicbook versions (Runamuck has the solid gold arms in #23 of the Marvel comic and in his profile). That's why the barrels are included: they are the graffiti spray cans from that issue.
They're cool. I actually prefer the toon Fast, but toy Fury. These are filler characters to me, though, and definitely not worth double or triple dipping. Maybe if they were cheaper. Great review, dude.
Almost everyone on the tfw2005 forums, myself included, seem to have varying levels of paint chipping on the robot mode painted chest stripe for Fury. Did you notice it at all on this copy? It looks fine from what I can see here, just wondered if you/Dr Diecast lucked out with that?
Does seem like a little bit of a money grab for them to release the toon versions, then 7 months later release toy versions with more joint problems fixed, more accessories, and (arguably) better paint. I love the first run cause I wanted toon, but I'm sure some people are upset about the accessories and black paint.
Great reviews, i got all 4
They're Awsome! Great Review ✨️😀

Se ven muchísimo mejor que las versiones originales, y como apunte extra, me encantan tus figuras personalizadas... 👌

I have the plain ones, I'm happy with those.
