Actor Ralph Fiennes speaks to the "CBS This Morning" co-hosts about his directorial debut and title role in the modern take on Shakespeare's tragedy "Coriolanus."
CBS NEWS....Ralph Fiennes just mite be the most talented actor today & all yesterdays. His performance as Heathcliff in WUTHERING HEIGHTS is the most hypnotic, mesmerizing performance one can ever hope to see. I fell in love watching this man do what he does. It's MAGIC !
Brilliant film. I'd give it 20 Oscars. One of the most powerful films I've seen for a long time and highly relevant to today's political problems in the world xx
I'm impressed, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised, by how well-spoken he is. And the final confrontation between Coriolanus and his mother is for me as well the "humanizing" and most interesting part of the play, well-justifying its translation to film. I watched the movie in a small theater last night and though it's not perfect it has really stayed with me all day, so much that I was reading the play online during my free moments at work.
So many people crushing on him. -.- Sure, he's thirty years older than me and hotter than the African sun... But... I'm interested in him as a human. I would live to pick that brain of his. I wish we could be pen pals or something...
You know, it annoys me when films like Scott Pilgrim and Treasure Planet become box-office bombs, but it really fucking pisses off to know that this film, a relevant Shakespeare adaptation that has something of actual worth to say, got $1 million at the box office out of a $10 million budget, but people flocked immediately to see shit like Breaking Dawn and Underworld 4.
the first i knew you in onegin and i'm in love with your acting... and then i search anything about your movies and information about you.. you really nice in every interview.. someday i want to meet you...i hope.. and take your picture with your beautiful eyes and smile... ^^
Have you seen him in Strange Days, good lord almighty, just all around illegal to be that good looking with the long hair and the leather pants being a total dealer.
Ralph has an interesting opinion when it comes to what is 'contemporary'...LOL, but yeah, Shakespeare is still relevant and Fiennes is an excellent actor.
This was an awful interview! Clearly the presenters didn't know, or care, anything about the film or the actor. Then he cuts him off when Fiennes finally gets a half decent question to answer. And to display the header, "A Very Fiennes Film' is so pathetic it defies belief.
I like your name--Ralph means wolf so you cancel out hitler who called himself a wolf-- glad you connect with your mom- searched to read her work w/o luck! :-(

Frieda Waters He is so amazing.Great actor especially his Amon Goeth.
I love his voice and mannerisms. He hunches and looks up with his head leaning down....so darn endearing!
Only the truly great can be so modest as Ralph Fiennes always is.
Favorite Actor of all time... EVER :)
Love you Ralph Fiennes!!! Love all about you and what you are doing!
It always surprises me how patient Ralph is about explaining his name.
the man's been in the business for over 30 years, you'd think at some point, they'd figure it out.

Love you Ralph! Don't change a thing about yourself.

my favorite actor! thanks for this clip
The actor gave a brilliant response to the hostess who asked him if he’d consider to change his name. Why should he???

I love that he's talking about a movie related to a mindless mob while talking to a mindless mob. hahahaha

Every time I hear his voice, I'm like: WHAT THE HELL?! How does Voldemort come out of that attractive face? Amazing man!
In real life, Ralph Fiennes has one of the softest voices I've ever heard from a man.
Have you seen him in Strange Days, good lord almighty, just all around illegal to be that good looking with the long hair and the leather pants being a total dealer.
Yes. Nobody better!!

hes so hot.
I won't rest until I become his first and only trophy wife.
That movie is a hit
He`s back!
Why would you change his name?! It's totally awesome/epic!
He probably only wishes he had changed his name so that he wouldn't have to deal with the constant questions about it.
Спилберг открыл бриллиант
Dang, sad he had to be cut off at the end!
To be fair, most newscasters have brains sharing the same consistency and size asa jar of Gerber brand applesauce.
He played rameses on the Prince of Egypt
konnte mich noch nicht dazu entschließen, den Film anzusehen..
