hey bro how do you ask devs or publishers for a early review copy with this little subscribers. i also have a youtube channel with similar subs but i never get a copy. can you please tell me the method of how to ask or get early review copies from game devs?
I usually look online for the contact emails of developers when it comes to games I'm looking to get early copies for, though sometimes developers will reach out to me as well. In this case I found Ubisoft's press webpage and applied through there, and was fortunate enough to be accepted!
Cheers for the review. Played the demo, and it was good, but nothing there blew me away. Going to pick it up in a few months- right now the PC asking price (70 CAD + tax) is a bit of a steep ask (Afterimage was 30 + tax on launch), especially considering I still have a bunch of last year's MV releases to go through, already sitting in my Steam library.
I've read that it is also being offered on Ubisoft+ if you subscribe, which results in a much cheaper access to the game. By the way, is 70 CAD + tax for the standard version? I see it for 49.99 in the Epic Store.
Indeed, it comes out on the 18th of January! I was just fortunate enough to receive an advance review copy. The demo truly shows the quality of the complete game!
I think it is one of those cases where the content can justify it. On average it takes about twenty hours to 100% this on normal. 30-35 if you go for it on the hardest difficulty (without any guides)! It has some great production value as well!
Glad you enjoyed the game! I also liked the story and boss battles, I found them refreshing for a metroidvania, but that just comes down to different tastes.

I think the game isn't out yet? the demo was fantastic and it runs great on the deck. 2024 looks to be packed with MV

Yes, it's going to be the biggest year ever for metroidvanias. This is the peak.
Great review! I really like the graphics, they kind of remind me of a fairytale story! I'll definitely play this at some point!
Have fun with it!
Great review. Loved the demo. Seems like a truly epic MV
It is a wonderful experience!
Great review!
Wow, thank you for the kind words! I'm a huge fan of your content!
Wow this looks incredible
It really is!
why would they turn a PERSIAN prince into a black dude with dreadlocks??? Netflix effect
Without wanting to give away the story, trust me, they did a great and original job with the Prince! Play the game and you will see!
This game looks pretty nice but the price is ridiculous 😑

It's AAA, what are you expecting? Lol
Enjoyed the combat, music, art direction, exploration, and platforming. Bosses were underwhelming and the story was cliche

@@soulsborneseeker The "White Lion" and the "Black Wind" immediately gave away what was going to happen in the story unfortunately
I loved all previous PoP games, but hated demo of this one. Not buying.
Truth be told, it is different in terms of genre, so understandably there will be people not fond of the new direction. At least you gave it a shot!
Should I buy this or Afterimage?
Both are excellent, but I think this one is much more impressive, so I'd go with the Prince!
@@soulsborneseeker Awesome! I look forward to playing it, thanks!
@@stiickyicky420 Have fun!
Find the game pretty cool !!! I really loved this 2D + 3D combination
It's really fun, I think you'd like it!
